What we immediately need is for artists to start making pictures inspired by Picasso's masterpiece, "Guernica". They might not change anything at once, but will keep the image of this crime alive and in the public mind. As Boss Tweed said about the cartoons that Thomas Nast drew parodying him, "I don't care a straw for your newspaper articles, my constituents don't know how to read, but they can't help seeing them damned pictures."

Add more deaths to Muskmelon's total, along with the estimated 4.5 million deaths expected to accumulate behind the DOGE-inspired strangling of USAID and programs like PEPFAR. He seems to delight in the blood-sport of tormenting those people who don't have a trillion dollars to play with.

Musk and Rubio must be held accountable for all the deaths caused by “putting USAID into the woodchipper”.

For more than twenty years I've argued the same principle regarding elections:

Trust is important. Verification is essential.

That principle doesn't stop at elections.

When innocent civilians die, when questions are raised about military decisions, and when new technologies such as AI may have played a role, the answer cannot be "just trust us."

Release the report.

The families deserve answers.

Congress deserves answers.

The American people deserve answers.

Transparency is not the enemy of democracy. It is one of its foundations.

Many thanks for the link to your sub stack. That work on voting systems is so valuable important. It is showing what the future should look like.

Our chronic inability, or refusal, to recognize our criminal behavior and hold ourselves to account invites further criminal behavior, an invitation we reliably accept.

Iranians aren't brown skinned, nor are they Arab. And Arab is not a race, but an ethnic identity based on one's native language.. There are Christian Arabs and Muslim Arabs, Black Arabs and blonde haired , blue eyed Arabs.

Iran is named after the old Persian Eran, meaning land of the Aryans. Look it up.

Oh and Iranians absolutely detest Arabs, as their much quoted and beloved 10th Century poet Ferdowsi called them Lizard Eaters and drinkers of camels milk. Which is actually protein rich and fattening.

It is actually sold in the Mid east in stores, it is even canned ,and sought after by those seeking to bulk up. Very good, but rich, according to some.

America has expended its store of missiles and will not catch up again, because of the corrupt military industrial congressional complex. Weapon systems and munitions are highly centralized and contracts go to politically favored corporations. And missiles cost millions.

During WWII,the arsenal of democracy pumped out aircraft carriers, war ships, merchant ships at a dizzying pace, now we can only produce one to three merchant ships a year, and have to contract out to South Korea,

While over in Ukraine there is a decentralized production, which includes innovation, no competitive bidding, no contracting with tight specifications. Drones and missiles are developed and built in decentralized basements and garages, and what costs millions or hundreds of thousands per copy in America, costs from $100 to $10,000 to build in Ukraine, and the system is responsive, immediately, to changes in technology, threat and on the battlefield.

“Brown skinned” was my first reaction but the article is accurate in every other aspect.

William Farrar's avatar

There most certainly are brown skinned Iranians, but Iranians are not brown skinned, unless one uses the descriptor for everyone who is not an Anglo Saxon Scandinavian.

The hardest part to accept is that Kiddie-Rapist Donald's and Other Men's Wives Raping Pete's ace-in-the-hole is what permits this mass infanticide in your name.

That ace? That ace is race.

If that slaughter had been in, say, Malmo, Sweden, with the victims being blue-eyed blonds, then there'd be a colossal backlash.

Brown? Girls? Muslims?

If you listen, you can hear 77,300,000 DT zombies chant, "Meh."

“Flood the zone with shit!” Three shirts steve said that and dump has followed through. Every fucking day brings a new atrocity and a shiny object to draw your attention from the true harm. We are so vulnerable to attack now that is only a matter of time before the trigger event happens that Thiel and the oligarchs are waiting for to declare martial law and suspend the 2026 elections. When that day comes, we must be be prepared to flood the streets in protest. “The only thing we have to fear is fear itaelf.” FDR.

The Nazi Republicans: Cheeto Is Tip Of The Iceberg

Let’s not forget that Cheeto was impeached twice and Senate Republicans prevented conviction because it would sure look bad for the party if two Republican presidents had been forced to leave office. And even if some Republicans did the right thing on the J6 impeachment it wasn’t enough to get the appropriate conviction but for Nixon in that day even Republicans had the moral conviction that there were enough votes for conviction.

Despite their failings the Nazi Republicans have managed until now to obfuscate the true KKK leanings they have for our fellow AfroAmerican citizens as evidenced by the SCOTUS ruling that finally gutted the last remnants of the VRA(Voting Rights Act). Of course the Federalist supported nominations came from a Nazi Repubican institution and with the help of McConnell sealed the partisan SCOTUS now serving.

And for now the Nazi Republicans who have so far rubberstamped Cheeto’s brazen nepotistic corruption are feeling uneasy. Tax breaks for the ultrawealthy donor class while gutting the American social safety net, abandoning American aid to foreign countries but ok with genocide, and firing necessary civil servants in the name of fiscal conservatism can seem alright, federal corruption is a step gone too far. But they’re ok with wining elections by cheating and digitally manipulating the results.

So the Nazi Republicans have shown the American people who they really are. A group of lawless, bought off, immoral, racist, misogynistic culture warriors who have propaganidized themselves to public office. WE the People have seen enough. The electorate should not give them the public office of dogcatcher for at least 20 years.

Ask yourself America, is this the true you? Is this really fine with us?

Are we talking out of both sides of our mouths because we are too stupid to know true deranged purpose.

Quit wrapping yourselves in the American flag if you hate paying taxes. If you hate other people, if you think there is another planet you can ruin , if you think money fixes everything. At least have the decency to leave our flag out of your psychopathic cult.

These are war crimes and everyone involved needs to be prosecuted by the international criminal court.

Hegseth , Trump and those who carry out their unlawful orders should be arrested, incarcerated, and put on trial as war criminals.

.

They deserve the same fate as those found guilty of war crimes at Nuremberg.

If the democrats win majorities in the house and senate and if they are listening to the majority of Americans they would be remiss not to charge these monsters with war crimes.

What should happen would be criminal charges of murder and genocide leveled against Musk, by the UN. If he were convicted, he would be subject to arrest by INTERPOL so he could not travel around the world. He might even be stuck in South Africa. In addition, Iran should sue for damages for, say, $176 billion in compensatory damages and another $800 billion in putitive damages.

Stinky could bail him out with his own funds if he so chooses, but not with taxpayer dollars.

That would be justice.
