Doesn't sound radical to me. Sounds like what passes for mainstream policy in rest of the developed world.

Well, if MAGA can be proud that they are a "Basket of Deplorables" then we sure as heck can be proud "Far Left Radicals" that believe in treating our fellow humans as fellow humans.

Is Rep. Thomas Massie far left? He just posted:

"Tonight Congress will vote to lower the age to prosecute minors as adults from 16 down to 14 in DC.

Let me get this straight:

Congress wants to prosecute 14 yr. olds as adults, but they don't want to prosecute adults who sexually abuse 14 year olds?

Release the Epstein files."

When will we bring back public hangings of 12-year-old shoplifters?

Oh Ruth! Most TRumpsters would only "understand" when it was their kid or grand-kid. Frigin' triple-TRump-voting farmers are finding out, no one to feed the animals, pick crops, and milk the cows. They still won't talk bad about their Cult leader.

I think every one of the assertions in this piece, reading like a Jeff Foxworthy bit ("you might be a far left radical if..."), are actually poll-tested as favored by a majority of the American people. I guess we are all just incorrigibly humane.

Could we get these points all summarized into brief bullet points and presented to the Democratic Party establishment for acceptance as their platform? Let's also have signs, bumper stickers, and T-shirts with that slogan. Take it to the media and demand that they pay attention. Let's "own the cons" and own our convictions.

Thanks, you are a fount of good information. I'm trying to finish a nine-page piece on curriculum which I have to give top priority now but will follow up as soon as I complete the project. It is an intimidating task for me because of various limitations and because summarizing such a list will require more work than one might anticipate if done well. I do not have the skills or technical tools for organizing such a task easily.

Excellent summary of the possibilities that once existed. That gives young people, who have been fed denial-garbage-fiction-as history new information re what was available then and by precedent what is possible for them now.

Yes, the American Dream peaked in the 50s and 60s and is no more. My father who worked on the assembly line at the Ford Motor Co. and retired in 1957 got a pension plus Ford paid for my undergraduate college tuition.

Thom is so right-on--health and education in this country is naked thievery. My daughter got two masters from an esteemed French school specializing in public health policy and her total tuition was $15,000....

The problem is, this is another label that has taken on a pejorative meaning. I think “far left radicals” are merely human beings with a moral compass, empathy, and a belief in truth and facts; what used to pass for an ordinary American. Labels have only divided us further.

We left wing radicals are having to fight for the New Deal, as well as, women, POC, and LGBTQ+ rights all over again. Governor Hochul just joined us by endorsing candidate, Zohran Mamdani. As in that case, the right wing radicals are not going to make it easy for us or the politicians.

Thom was just on "The Left Hook" with Waj Ali. He pointed out how few Progressives were in the caucus to begin with, now there are 101. Some of them are giving the right more than bad dreams. Polls show Americans want we want. Remind them who will get it done. See you in the streets.

Thom substantiated that we wuz robbed.

We need to pressure Congressional Republicans, many who privately know Trump is nuts. They need positive reinforcement to come forward.

This is genius.

I have more to say on this, but I'll have to do that later - somewhere in between my GOP mandated minimum 3 jobs just to wake up and do it all over again.

For now, brilliant stuff. Run with it.

People who don't do their own taxes can't possibly know how they're being taxed. Let's set the record straight. There is no tax on social security income UNLESS one's other income exceeds a certain amount. The thresh hold is fairly high and even then only a portion of social security is taxed. On page 32 of the 1040 Instruction booklet is the "Social Security Benefits Worksheet—Lines 6a and 6b". It was designed by the tax preparers lobby to discourage you from doing your own tax returns. I don't recommend trying to do it if you have high blood pressure.

Taxes are the price of civilization.

I've been hoping that John Fugelsang will appear on CBN, Trinity Broadcasting regarding his new book, Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-Fleecing Frauds. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=separation+of+church+and+hate+book&hvadid=724893954653&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9011911&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=25291985388640091--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=25291985388640091&hvtargid=kwd-2383385110935&hydadcr=19738_13380180&mcid=2483399613213f3398a21d3ef3171d8b&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_bysq4iop8_e

Saw him on Malcolm Nance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0fBLEYMe88

Fugelsang on "So Many Ways to Spin a Tragedy of Their Own Making." September 16, 2025

"John discusses the desperate attempt of Republicans to blame anyone and everyone else for the shooting of Charlie Kirk even though the shooter was one of their own. Then, he welcomes back Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman to discuss the recent shootings and Trump's crackdown of liberal speech."
