What I find heartening is that women are often at the forefront of the battles with the bullies. Mamma is not afraid to open that can of whoop-ass and use it. We have a long way to go before we catch-up with Iceland in this regard, but we are on our way.

At the movies, we love to see the bad person get what's coming to them regardless of the gender of the bully or the hero. We have to work for justice every day.

When bullies conspire with their bully buddies to do things adverse to our rights and our communities' interests, it is incumbent upon our elected and appointed officials to protect our citizens from their harmful behaviors. However, as long as the bullies control the decision-making of our public sector leaders, their human ugliness will continue to metastasize.

The 'Left' also has a major bullying problem as well...and the left denies that it even exists.

I spent 5 years volunteering with my local Democratic party (including being on the Washington State Central Committee) among which there are many fine people. However, the 'woke' culture activists eventually took over with a with-us-or-against-us take-no-prisoners attitude. There was a campaign to cancel me as a front desk volunteer/coordinator simply because I disagreed with changing the meaning and use of pronouns and disagreeing with Robin DiAngelo's take on racism (White Fragility). I also dared to say that not all Trump supporters are racists and what passes for racism might have more to do with cultural perceptions than race. (I pointed out that a black immigrant became mayor of Helena, Montana in Trump country....See Trevor Noah's Daily show video on this on YouTube). Letters were written to cancel me as a volunteer because 'people would not feel welcome' if I didn't kowtow to remembering self-selected pronouns based in inwardly felt gender expressions. To me, one's inwardly felt gender was a personal issue and not something that deserved a special right to demand others remember and use and affirm. This has nothing to do with equal rights but was a special right, more akin to demanding a title such as 'Doctor' or 'Reverend'. Later, I realized that this whole 'woke' movement is nothing but a power play by bullies (many from a politicized academia) under the guise of 'equality' and protecting feelings of different groups of people.

Trumpism is a fascist movement also comprised of bullies. They have their own cancel culture as well. I am not a right-winger and there are many on the left who feel the same way as I do but afraid to say so. Racism and discrimination does occur but CRT (Critical Race Theory) is an illiberal, totalitarian, anti-democratic, anti-free speech, anti-Enlightenment, anti-reason and racist take on the issue and it HAS infiltrated big time into schools, institutions and businesses.

People vote on culture, not on policy.

With the 'woke' culture's takeover of the Democratic Party, and the dismissive arrogance towards the rest of the country, they will continue to lose elections.

After months and months in lock down. Avoiding restaurants. No Travel. Wearing masks (which is really not a big deal) etc. I had a close friend get the virus and witnessed how horrible it is. I really looked forward to the vaccine. I was so anxious to get it that I signed up on multiple sites hoping for the first notification. When I was finally notified by my Medicare Advantage Plan Provider of the time and date, I could hardly wait for the potential freedom of being vaccinated. Others in line for the Vaccine were also excited and it was a friendly atmosphere. I knew it would take several weeks to be fully vaccinated and accepted that. Literally millions of people were vaccinated before me and I was very comfortable with that. I received the Pfizer Vaccine and had zero side effects. I got my card and stored it in my Passport (as I use to do with my yellow card back when I was working in 3rd world countries). I also took pictures of the card and stored it on my cell phone for future reference. I have checked and I am not magnetic. This is all, several months ago. I had no idea, nor could I imagine at the time, The partisan resistance that this vaccine would get. Brought to you by the Republican Party. May they all get the virus!

Thanks for this, it's a good characterization of the political climate and why I am so uncomfortable with it and really don't feel safe in my own country anymore. I need my representatives to stand up to the bullies, from the top down. Stop making nice with bad faith actors.
