I fail to see the advantages of the so-called AI centers for the public; for the last fifty or so years the use of computers has burgeoned so - and we have been reaping its benefits - so how is the AI that the technocrats want to thrust upon us any different, or in any way an improvement over what is already happening? the public needs job opportunities more than it needs the increased leisure that AI is supposed to provide.

Just stop asking ordinary people to subsidize the infrastructure, pollution, and risk while somebody else keeps the profit.
