Sorry if I repeat. All Trump moves are designed to distract our attention.

Take advantage of the situation. Trump is vulnerable.

Yesterday, Thom Tillis, Republican of North Carolina and a member of the Senate Banking Committee, said he would oppose the confirmation of all picks for the Fed, including the forthcoming chair nomination, until the legal matter is resolved. Feasible to get several House members to flip, issue by issue.

IMHO Epstein is primary.

The Obamacare issue brought several more Repubicans to support a Dem initiative.

Tatiffs? Ukraine? Russian Sanctions.

Impeachment! https://www.removetheregime.com/

Removal coalition

We have an open window of opportunity.

If we can get three (3) Republicans, we can issue subpoenas, hold hearings.

Jerry Weiss scenario. https://jerryweiss.substack.com/

On Thursday, the Senate voted to advance a bill that would stop the Trump administration from additional attacks on Venezuela without congressional approval. The vote was 52–47 with five Republicans joining all the Democrats to move the measure forward. Republicans killed a similar measure in November, but Trump’s enormously unpopular incursion into Venezuela and threats against Greenland prompted five Republicans to reassert congressional authority over military action. CNN called it “a notable rebuke of the president.”

The five Republicans voting for the bill were Susan Collins of Maine, Josh Hawley of Missouri, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Todd Young of Indiana.

Immediately, Trump posted on social media that the five “should never be elected to office again.” By reasserting the power of Congress, he wrote, they were “attempting to take away our Powers to fight and defend the United States of America.”

Trump is in a pickle. Here is Baghdad By the Sea, at least one House MAGAT, my rep, opposes him on immigration. Many other House Republicans oppose him on the Epstein coverup. Others on the Obamacare issue. It's up to us to convince more to join them.

In Minnesota Congressional Republicans need to be pressured. We need to contact their donors. Local businesses. Local Holy Joes. Picket. Sit in.

The current Republican U.S. representatives for Minnesota are:

District 1: Brad Finstad (since August 12, 2022)

District 6: Tom Emmer (since January 3, 2015)

District 7: Michelle Fischbach (since January 3, 2021)

District 8: Pete Stauber (since January 3, 2019)

FREE AMERICA WALKOUT

One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent. It is time for our communities to escalate as well.

2025 was a year of marches that showed our collective strength. And as the threats grow, our movement must evolve and escalate. Trump and his allies have already made clear that a second term would bring a deeper wave of misogyny, racism, xenophobia, and violence than the first.

On January 20, we call on our communities to organize teams, call your neighbors and classmates, and turn your back and walk out on fascism. Host mutual aid planning meetings, organize public service, but walk out to block the normal routines of power, and make the stakes real. This is a protest and a promise. In the face of fascism, we will be ungovernable.

★ We walk away from fascism. ★

★ We walk towards a Free America. ★

★ We fight for a future that belongs to us all. ★

★ Everybody in, nobody out. ★

★ Welcome to the Free America Walkout ★

I don’t understand the fact that the only action being taken is suing. This is an emergency. Why isn’t the DA issuing arrest warrants for murder assault property damage etc. since the insurrection act has not been invoked warrantless searches and raids are illegal. Why doesn’t the governor have the National Guard engage in non-violent protection of citizens by becoming official observers and following ICE activities. Or perhaps make an executive order against masks. Or emergency legislation against masks and lack of ID so that they are violating state law?

It’s all too extraordinary.

When a tyranny is on the rocks, it becomes frantic, and thus increasingly violent and reckless, the only way to save itself is a total crack down, a full fledged police state. Expect repressive measures and violence to escalate.

It isn't just Trump that is at risk it is every member of his cabinet, advisors, down to the ICE, CBP, HSI, DEA, FBI agents any and all who carry out his commands, and that includes members of the Armed Forces, those involved in blowing up boats, even those involved in the kidnapping of Maduro.

If by miracle, the Democrats retook the government, do you think there will be a housecleaning, especially at DoJ, and every Trump appointed employee fired, especially the DOGE kids.

Don't bank on it. The Democrats just don't have the backbone, Biden didn't, He revoked Trump's schedule F with his first Executive order, thus depriving him the ability to clean house, especially DOJ, NSA and Homeland Security of Trump embedded employees, and he paid for his fecklessness.

It's starting to look like Trump will attempt to invoke the insurrection clause soon. Minnesota is standing up hard, and other states are taking notice. If DOJ comes after them, they will do the same. Trump doesn't have enough boots on the ground to lock down the country. Especially with leaders starting to defect.

I agree with the one commentator here, why aren't Walz and Ellison breaking out the national guard to protect the citizens? Is there some sort of state or federal law preventing this? Or are they chicken? As a retired Army command sergeant major and governor, cowardice doesn't seem likely, so why aren't we seeing more? Are they worried about civilian casualties? With the murder of Ms. Good, I think we're past that now. Minneapolis is very close to being a war zone as it is right now.

Something's going to break soon and I don't think it will be a peaceful solution. Don't think this can't happen in your city because it can. Multiple cities have seen this so far but not on the scale of Minneapolis. But Minnesota is just the beginning. They are the proving ground for either side. If Minnesota lays down because their leadership is afraid of another BLM protest, that ship has sailed. Those types of protests are already happening. The only thing left out is the wanton destruction of businesses. That's only because they have a common enemy and they're wearing combat clothing and equipment. They're easy targets. Easy to focus the anger on.

So I ask again, what is the state leadership waiting for? Why do they seem to be so hesitant to stand up for their people? If ICE wins this battle in Minnesota, they will take that battle to other states and deploy the same tactics over and over again. They started in LA, took it to Chicago, where they used Chicago as a training ground. Memphis was a cake walk, as was New Orleans. Minneapolis is ramping up to be the beginnings of the true resistance. Whether they're going to be a Bunker Hill or a Lexington-Concord will be up to the state leadership. Lawsuits won't stop bullets.

Their vision is real.....

Some want to dismiss the role that the Tech Bros are playing in all of this. They hold the method and means to the end that these Nazis want. The propaganda and push they give disinformation on the internet is exactly what we are seeing.

This movement to dominate the Western Hemisphere was real in the 1930's and long past WWII. It's back with a vengeance. Putin is doing it. XI is doing it. Worst of all, TRump and the Tech Bros have started THEIR domination movement. This beautiful Western Hemisphere has at least a billion people in it. For ANY of their plot to work, they have to control us. Enter the tech that they will claim is our savior.

They giveth and they taketh away---when you don't obey. It even f-ing rhymes. First thing Iran did was shut down the internet. A piece of my heart is with the women in Iran. I am humbled by the bravery we are seeing there and in our own USA. WE ARE THE THE PEOPLE AND THIS IS OUR HOMELAND. See you in the streets.

Great suggestion from Gloria. I just read notes and they said the focus is on Musk. He is the dark heart of the US's part of this.

It's naive to witness what he paid for the election and did with DOGE and then to think he didn't school TRump and his psychos. You know, he never met his grandpa, Joshua N. Haldeman (WIKI), but you can bet the whole Technate of America crap came from his mother Maye. White Power Pukes from South Africa. Nazis that found their tribe right here in the USA. Now he is building it out within his Tech Bro circle.

WE really got our initial message right about fascism and the end of democracy being their real agenda. Thanks for all you are doing, Gloria.

Sadly, as we are all perfectly aware and reminded at least dozens of times per day, it is easier to accept personal fear. Once I'm dead, I don't expect to feel remorse or pain (no matter what after-life beliefs I had). But when you're dealing with organized crime or political terrorism, it is very difficult not to fear the kind of multi-generational punishment being applied against our loved ones, even if we are ourselves no longer going to ever personally experience it again.

Sadly, the likelihood of a police riot in a city with a history of police riots is likely higher than zero.

Even though Trump's clowncar cabinet members are, like ICE Barbie, not the brightest bulbs in Trump's chandelier, the alt-right media will blame any and all violence on radical socialist democrats - as they are paid to do. MAGA lies are validated by only one criterion today: "Everybody knows." Shaking this baseless worldview seems nearly impossible thanks to the MSM cozying up to the monied liars.

While MAGAs too are in economic pain, they continue to cling to Trump's promise of delivering "The Rapture" just as soon as he can rid America of its libtard sinners - or whatever.

I hope and pray that we the people will not succumb to the pressure of this administration and give them the excuse they desperately want and need to impose martial law. Dump will not survive his many ailments to face any prison time but his sniveling underlings will certainly face charges at least at the state level and some of them can be sent to The Hague to face charges of crimes against humanity. I am talking to Hegseth, Caine, and the admirals and generals who ordered all the boat strikes and the invasion of Venezuela!

Hope is absolutely our imperative, as dark as it seems when we see what ICE is doing and as boats are being bombed and the Epstein cover-up continues unabated. If you saw Rachel last night, you know that Trump is on the ropes at this point and losing many more major cases than he is winning. My dad used to warn me and my three siblings about getting "too big for our britches". These people have clearly gotten too big for their britches, and the people are not going to remain quiet any longer. However, rats in a corner do not stop being vicious rats and there can be no compromising or retreat for us. Trump called Sen. Elizabeth Warren hoping to appease her and looking for a way to salvage his economic debacle from total ruin. But she is not going to cave in the least, and we cannot slow down either. Every day is a new battle, and a different war, and eternal vigilance is our only option. Many more people will get hurt before these fascists and kleptocrats are defeated. If we do not enlist the latest generation in the fight and if they are not steeled and prepared for what is still coming, we may still be embattled for years.

I can look out my window in St. Paul and see Minneapolis just across the Mississippi, and we have plenty of ICE agents throughout the whole area too. Just yesterday in the metro area four homeless Lakota tribal members sleeping under a bridge were taken away as suspected undocumented immigrants. The tribe is frantic to find them, so far without success. Meanwhile Trump (I'll skip the capital letter shouting) writes that, "Fear not, great people of Minnesota, the day of reckoning & retribution is coming!" And this is what a U.S. president tells a state?

But what worries me is that this fool may get scared enough to do something really stupid. Invading Iran, Cuba or Greenland come to mind. Then there will be an excuse to declare that it's such an emergency that the elections must be postponed. (Alternately he could make a deal with Tehran to halt their nuclear program, backstabbing the protestors and never mind that he killed the deal in the first place. Then he would portray it as a great victory worthy of a Nobel Prize.) Hopefully if he pushes for a war his own people will reach their limits. After all, Hitler's orders to burn down first Paris and then Germany were ignored. But it's terrible we might get to that point.

I am afraid that if the public fights back with any form of violent resistance it will be all the excuse Trump needs to declare martial law. All it would take is one instance where an ICE or Customs agent was injured or even killled. I have concluded that Trump is waiting and hoping for something to happen which will justify his achieving his goal of becoming a dictator who is unaccountable to any constraints in law. He wants to out-Putin Putin, to be the über Putin, Xi, or Kim Jong Un. I wrote about this yesterday here >> https://halbrown.substack.com/p/how-trump-can-declare-martial-law
