Yes, I have a supplemental insurance policy because Medicare doesn't pay enough for some procedures, but I have had several very expensive surgical procedures (totaling greater than $100,000) that cost me nothing. My only real cost is prescriptions, plus the cost of my supplemental policy. But Medicare for all could be set up so that a supplemental policy wouldn't be necessary.
I worked hard for candidates who said they supported universal healthcare, only to change their minds after they were elected. One member of Congress told me the forces against it are too strong to try.

To advocate for Medicare for all is to know nothing about what it is like to have to rely on it. You can’t. USA needs something that works! Not more of the ineffectiveness we already have.
