Simply put, Donald TRump isn't fit to lick Senator Mark Kelly's shoe.....

That phrase was made popular by the book, The Great Gatsby.

These veterans/lawmakers know the law. They are trying to protect the troops from future harm on the legal level, but also on a moral one. One major difference today in the parties---Democrats and independents have found the courage to speak up.

These folks were Patriots when they served before, and they are Patriots while they are serving now. I am really proud of them for taking care of the troops. Once again, someone has to do TRump's job.

Donold's usual chicken-sh*t response is meant to appeal to his worst Cult members. What a bunch of cowards. He's loud, but WE ARE LOUDER! See you in the streets. Stand next to person in the chicken costume.

He should definitely be impeached but that requires Congress to agree. I seriously can’t believe this is truly happening.

Loyalty is owed to the Constitution, NOT to the leader.

And the moment someone asserts otherwise, he/she is a traitor.

As stated by ALL Presidents of the USA, as sworn in their appointment.

Liar! You Crybaby Pig and felon

The performance of Mike Johnson, when surrounded by a gaggle of reporters was just as bad, if not worse. We are indeed in trouble.

The scary thing is that he has his own police, that are loyal to him and will obey any order or suggestion.

This is not the 1860s. Open civil war is unlikely to achieve much. Perhaps the more important question we should be considering is whether or how America might react to a Trump coup? Will it trigger splintering the military and starting armed conflict like the last time? What did that achieve? A more likely reaction might be a national strike to which Trump will likely re-invade major cities in an attempt to force people back to the office.

We do know what life is like with a Gestapo. Trump has given big cities a taste. The are still residents in East Germany who can tell you what it was like in Putin's early KGB days. Few are alive to talk about Hitler's reign. I visited Putin's old office in Dresden and learned that every phone call in Saxony was monitored for subversive communication. Cellphones today are much easier to eavesdrop. Just ask DHS Secty ICE Barbie whose goons now snoop into our PCs and phones when we try to leave or re-enter the USA.

The Soviet East-German economy was a mess too. Well, Trump has his ICE Gestapo and his National-Guard militia augmented by Oathkeeprs and Proud Boys who attempted the last Trump coup. But how will they get average Americans to knuckle under and stop resisting Trump's neo-NAZI America?

Surely, the US economy is too complex, and the population too large, for a military coup to force a return to work. Will modern Americans even try to resist a coup? So far, most Trump Gestapo protesters have been retired Boomers. We Boomers have a history of open resistance to government abuses. Armed Forces Integration, the Equal Rights Amendment, and stopping the Vietnam War were all led by Boomers. But today, we are also too old to grab a rifle and start shooting Trump confederates. I doubt if Commander Boomer Bonespurs even has a plan - just a concept of a plan. But his Heritage Foundation surely has one.

Nearly every thing Donald Trump has done since January of 2017 has been impeachable, in many prosecutable as a felony.

Thanks Thom, right you are, he should be impeached for threatening , endangering the lives of members of congress. But scanning the headlines I see that major news outlets are not enraged as they would be if Biden had said anything similar. The Supreme Court gave him immunity in Trump v United States, effectively blocking prosecution of the documents and insurrection cases. Oh, and let us not forget Aileen Cannon's contribution to his dictatorship. Since I'm recalling Supreme Court rulings, how about, Citizens United v FEC where billionaires can give unlimited amounts of dark money to buy elections. We are (expletive deleted). Sorry for the negativity.

The Toddler in Chief, who never had any parenting, is not getting his way lately. He doesn't have the energy to throw a tantrum on the floor of the oval office, so he makes rash remarks, insults, and death threats instead. The problem is, he is President, with all the life-and-death powers of the office; and compounding the danger, his subordinates lie for him and encourage his dangerous behavior. This is a government in meltdown.

"If Threatening to Hang Members of Congress Isn’t Impeachable, What Is?"

I'm certain the query is rhetorical, given your intellectual prowess and unassailable knowledge. Because, Sensei, under the current administration, sociopolitical environment and, most of all, his-story of the United States the answer is elementary. Literally, and it is one simple word...

Nothing.

I saw a video of one of the "children concentration camps" in the US there must be be many of them, but nobody talks about it. They are so cruel and inhumane, no beds, no pillows or blankets, 1 sandwich a day, no hot meals etc. They are creating thousands of "orphans" who will most likely never see their deported/jailed parents again. Even the ICE agent in charge said it was horrible and cruel, no way to treat children (some are toddlers).

The kids were laying on the floor with covid masks on and those "silver sheets " as blankets, stuffed in like sardines in a can.

The media is ignoring this but in the end the tax payers will have to care for all these poor kids.

I can only imagine what a nightmare this is for the parents and the kids, it will cause lifelong trauma.

1. We are a minority party. We need Congressional Republicans to stand up.

2. I post stuff like this every day. https://www.impeachtrumpagain.org/

Al Green has repeatedly introduced resolutions to impeach Donald Trump, citing concerns over abuse of power, threats to democracy, and a disregard for the separation of powers and constitutional limits. His efforts have included accusations related to Trump's actions concerning military action in Iran, comments on racial issues, and his approach to the judiciary and federal court orders. While these resolutions have not led to impeachment, they have been the subject of votes, such as one in June 2025, which was ultimately tabled by the House.

I wish Thom would follow up on this stuff.

Yup, it's going to be lame duck for a holiday dinner. Representative Green said he's preparing some new articles of impeachment that will be brought before Christmas. People may actually listen---that part of it could happen.

We have to go after the GOP and the Supreme Court, They have encouraged and protected Trump, their cowardice and complicity have created this monster. Call Fox New what they

are ;"liars". The Dems have been much too complacent for months, only a handful have the guts to stand up to Trump and his abuse. We need much more outrage. Unfortunately many Dems in congress care more about clinging to their jobs and pretending that Trump somehow will self destruct. They are too scared to speak out but they work for us and we pay their salary and healthcare while watching the country burn. Trump is bombarding us with his venom, unfortunately it has made many people numb, they can no longer listen to him and they shut themselves off. I see it with my friends and neighbors, they have given up and tell me to disengage for my own sanity. They tell me" why make yourself upset when there is nothing you can do"
