So now we know why they need to built all those AI data centers!

And we thought credit scores were intrusive! So, rump wants obedient people like China and North Korea.

It is likely that the rest of us are already in that database. That was the DOGE Boys' primary role - hack and consolidate the data systems of every agency they entered when nobody was able to monitor what they were doing. Thom's theory that the child bank accounts are the last element to continuously update the database makes perfect sense.

The federal government has long had a central data system that looks just like the new AI facilities. Just Google "federal data centers" and click for images. Odds are that every current AI system has already hacked Musk's unauthorized database on all of us. Of course, the Tech Bros goals are not fascist. They are capitalist.

Recent OS updates boasted AI infusions into my Galaxy mobile phone and desktop PC. That has led to an interesting experience. I Googled the internet for a new closet door on my PC the other day, found a match on Amazon, and ordered it. Then the next day, I started getting ads for closet doors on my cellphone solitaire game app every time I reshuffled the deck. Then I started getting ads for Mercedes EVs after our latest service call on another phone app. Hmmm?

Once again, Republican hypocrisy and classism are exposed. They care about privacy--their privacy, but not yours, just as they care about jobs--theirs, not yours, and healthcare at a price they can pay, but you can't. A free democracy works only on mutual trust and trustworthiness, but for the GOP, trust is only a one-way street.

This is a bigger problem than is thought.

Social Security No. is a key*.

Just wait until AI gets a load of those SSNs... You think the FBI's freak out over the loss of personal data is bad?

You ain't seen nothin' yet.

AI is a beast.

*Cryptographic key — A mathematically generated secret used to encrypt/decrypt data or authenticate identity.

*API / SSH / digital key — A machine‑readable credential proving a user, service, or workload is allowed to access something.

*Database key — A unique identifier (primary key, foreign key) that defines relationships and ensures records are uniquely addressable.

And with their fake government websites, they'll be collecting your location and IP address and everything that you work off of there to add to that file. The guys from doge , who hoovered up the social security and irs records are still working, now for the government's internet offices to build fake fronts to legitimate government sites. They harvest everything an unprotected web browser will give them, and then send you along to the real site. See the Drey report.

The Repugnican Party is fulfilling its long-held dreams of fascism throughout all three branches of government. Legacy media fails its franchise daily. Democratic “leadership” is far more invested in its own perpetuation than in advancing a government of, by, and for the people. If Democrats are successful in November it will be in spite of said “leadership”, not because of it, but they’ll claim undeserved credit. Let us hope that enough Americans are paying attention that national reckoning and decontamination can ultimately right our foundering ship of state.

What they told us in elementary school is true??

Your school record (that included a "sanitary check" in early grades; mine reported that I bit my nails) will follow you throughout your life.

Unreal -- although I have run out of adjectives to describe today's world.

And the new ID.me is accomplishing the same for the rest of us, as it is now required to access Treasury, IRS, Medicare, SS, and any gov't agency. Has anyone else been through this ID process? It's utterly creepy!

Even if we manage to “get back” our gov in November, and even if we manage to get a demo president back in office in ‘28, time will race by and somehow, inevitably, the public will forget this nightmare even happened and a new even worse repugnance will enter office! Are our minds all part of ai algorithms, also?

Credit bureaus have been tracking anyone with a credit history and excluding those without a history from all kinds of things, while discriminating in various ways or reporting their info to anyone with access (or enough money or clout) for decades. The cumulative file held by every school on every student has been used to discriminate against any student or former student in all sorts of areas, including employment and military eligibility or assignment of security clearances. We have been working our way towards a police state for generations. The foot in the door is the invitation to invade privacy, and one can only hope that warnings of this nature will be adequate to alert more people to the inherent dangers.
