Project 2025 strategy: If you don’t like the current law; change it - lawfully or not. The only citizens that matter are the ones representing them. I’d call this a hostile government takeover.

Tempertantrump must be prosecuted and convicted of destroying official, historic, government property without authorization. Those who allow any additional activity on this issue are also co-conspirators.

Congratulations, Bill Maher--your irreverence has soured into irrelevance. And Fetterman shows us again how brain damage is a prerequisite for being MAGA. What freedom-loving American would not be properly unhinged (or deranged) by the daily, almost hourly, outrages perpetrated by this gang of criminals that loot and pillage our nation for their amusement?

Everything this administration does is to give us all the middle finger and to try to convince us that they are superior and they have all the power, while we are at their mercy. They make the choices, make and break the rules, and deny us the crumbs because they want everything to be tidy and spotless like their controlled environments. Until there is enough real and visible anger and until we decide to exercise our power and start confiscating their unholy wealth and excess, they will continue to keep all of us under their thumb and rub our misery in our faces. Turn up the heat. Turn up the volume. Step on their manicured toes. And overwhelm them with massive numbers and angry crowds. What belongs to the commons should be returned to the commons and protected.

The felon has been giving his supporters the finger for over ten years, and they just keep cheering him on. Real smart, that bunch.

Thanks Thom:

The idiot's actions will destroy him and his cronies.

The gold touch of King Midas destroyed his life (and daughter) and all his cronies too.

The ancient Greeks knew narcissum and the destructive power of would be autocrats.

We are now learning about it ourselves - the end of the story cannot come too soon.

Maher makes $286,000 per show.

Veggie Fetterman stroked-out years ago.

Neither is a reliable narrator of ballroom-guy's [a/k/a Cathy's*] interior fetishes nor the everyday person's reaction to his architectural crud, esp. the ballooning cost of his airplane hanger, er, ballroom.

The WH gilding and building is a sad, male Cathy's pathetic attempt to replicate the interior of various rooms within the Kremlin.

Maher and Fetterman should be "S. Colbert'd" off the air by Casey Bloys, Chairman & CEO of HBO and Max Content.

* "People are fools. I can’t understand why they live.”

Cathy Ames in "East of Eden."

This line reminds me of the ballroom guy, as it distills Cathy's contempt for others. And her belief that human beings are weak, gullible, and deserving of exploitation. It’s the engine of her predatory behavior.

They are similar monsters, Cathy and the ballroom guy.

I hope someday Democrats see enough of the light to run and govern on a very simple idea, Everyone needs enough to live with dignity, nobody needs billions.

The most important people in America are not the politicians, not the billionaires,

They're the farmers, the farmworkers, ranchers, cowboys, fishermen, without them the politicians and billionaires starve to death too.

The teachers, without teachers there could be no politicians, no billionaires, they wouldn't know how to read and write, everyone would be ignorant and illiterate,

They're the loggers, the miners, the truckers and trainmen, the contractors and carpenters, and all the other people who do the essential jobs that are the foundation of every economy, the foundation of Civilization.

Perhaps trump would benefit to remember that the statue of Saddam was brought down by the Iraqi people. Kaddafi in Libia, Mussolini, Hitler and a rogue's gallery of history showed many more autocrats and dictators deposed. Orban was voted out, as well as Bolsonaro. It will eventually happen here if we wake up in time. They all had monuments to themselves, gold stashed in opulent palaces (make believe ball room) while the population lived in poverty except for a select group of the 1% and rooms full of yes men who were also prosecuted, like should happen here for allowing this "administration" to enrich themselves at our expense, take over countries, start "special military engagements" which have caused unnecessary military and civilian death and destruction.

"If you’re so insulated by wealth, celebrity, and proximity to power that you can look at a billionaire turning the White House into a monument to himself and shrug like it’s no big deal, then maybe you’re the ones who’ve lost touch with reality..."

If you're so insulated by Trump Derangement Syndrome and your own need to maintain monetized subscriptions and followers that you ignore a genocide, then maybe you're the ones who've lost touch with reality....

Maher shares with POSOTUS an unsupportably inflated assessment of his own brilliance. Paying attention to POSOTUS isn’t optional, but Maher has been ignorable for years, thanks entirely to his condescending arrogance. His Islamophobia, his support of all things Israeli, serve to shine a light on his intellectual shortcomings. Evidently, his ratings are tanking accordingly.

Fetterman is a Democrat because he would never make it as a Republican.

Bill Maher and Trump have a lot in common, narcissists with no self esteem, they need crowd approval. Immature and stunted personalities.

Maher has an obsession with transgendered women, too much so, not a show goes by that he doesn't bring up the subject. Me thinks he doth protest too much. Is he a closet transvestite, or is it because his girlfriend, Ann Coulter, has an Adams Apple.

I harken back to the Stanford Experiment, which showed that the more homophobic one was, the deeper in the closet they are.

Recall that Senator from Idaho, Larry Craig, at the time he was the most virulent homophobe in the senate, then he was caught politicizing sex in the Minneapolis, Mens Room Airport.

Some how the Billionaire class has convinced the working class that the educated class is their enemy. We just did a little bit better than the working class. Possibly 2-3 times better but the billionaires did 1,000 times better and they can not relate to anyone but themselves. We need to make working class our allies not the enemy. The Republican tax cuts created the Billionaire class and destroyed a secure middle class.

Would someone somewhere Please present a breakdown of the Ballroom’s true cost? We were originally told that it would cost $100m, then $200M, and finally $400M…all provided by private and corporate donations! Now the Republicans want to authorize $1Billion taxpayer dollars to finish the project! So what is the true cost of the Ballroom? $330M as indicated in this article? $400M as promised by Trump? $1BILLION per Congressional Republicans? Or $1.4Billion (donations plus tax dollars)? And if the answer is $1B, what happens to the $400M Trump says was already donated?
