I just found out that ICE raided the continuing care retirement community campus where my partner and I live and arrested two Hispanic construction workers. I am glad for things MTG is saying now and no one should be targeted for violence.
However, I'm sure her previous extreme rhetoric has influenced people who make those kinds of threats. I won't believe her supposed change of heart until she personally apologizes directly to David Hogg and others she has harmed with her own rhetoric.

Anyone with critical reasoning skills understands that the only way MAGAs wake up to their naive political cultism is when they are forced to experience the pain of its cruelty in their personal lives, like SNAP's crackle, & pop - no healthcare. MTG was/is indeed a useful idiot. Now she gets to see what it is like to be on the receiving end of Trump's personal and vicious attacks. Only now does she realize that Trump's fascist verbal extortion is not just idle bravado. She is now a terrified example for the MAGA faithful to observe the consequences of MAGA disloyalty.
It is a historical fact that all RULERs lead by extortion & fear. Their subjects must execute their ruler's will or face loss - of power, wealth, or life itself. Many MAGAs seemed to take amusement, if not delight, at seeing Trump-incited violence making political enemies cower. That could be because they themselves have used threats as a means to dominate in social situations and find it reassuring.
The Pelosi attack was a great example of the impact of Trump's ruthless rhetoric. Some MAGAs justify Trump's violence as God's will, despite the mountain of evidence that Trump does not have a Christian bone in his body. But Trump observed that historically, no European ruler could ever rise to become King or Emperor without the Pope's blessing. So, Trump engineered a bunch of evangelical con-pastors to lay hands on him in the Oval Office. It fooled the MAGAs, but nobody else. The MAGAs seem to view cavorting with dictators and even a murderous peer from the Middle East as evidence of power rather than an obscene example of ruthless racketeering.

By "all Rulers" I am referring to authoritarian dictators and monarchs, not people who are focused on governing. Governing presidents try to make life better for those who put them in power. Rulers focus on making life better for themselves and their power-peers. It is the basis for his "art of the deal."

I have no use for poor Marjorie Taylor Greene but that's not the point. Mob rule in the U.S. has long been a problem ever since the American revolution. American applaud what the colonists did to stand up to the British king and that's a good thing. Mob rule created the Trail of Tears during Andrew Jackson's time (they found gold in the mountains of Georgia and needed the native Americans gone). Mob rule has been the premise for most societal changes in the U.S. history. Nothing has changed except the characters in the play. When you have a largely uneducated population, it's easy to stir them up with fear of something.
MJT will be fine. Her security detail should be able to prevent the majority of the nutjobs who might want to try something. For her, it's all about the theatre as she sets the stage for loftier political aspirations.
For everyone else, we have to be aware that this the MAGA GOP tactics. Psyops campaigns to keep everyone in fear of something in order to manipulate them to do their bidding. It's worked for hundreds of years so far, why stop now.
Violence comes in many forms. All kinds of real threats and mental attacks are ignored as normal. None are normal and many are real even if not seen. Why does the media pretend bullying occurs by many methods few understand or see them as the clear violence they represent? Krasnov and his authoritarian methods of violence are clear enough so there is no excuse to pretend they are just every day bullying that is normal not needing policing. All these actions cost us energy of various kinds. Stocking is illegal but likely only enforced for women. It simply is expected for men to take care of the situation. Black magic is not even considered but it takes energy away from people. You are just expected to deal with it yourself but being ganged up on is pretended to be not possible. We think only weak and frail individuals are the targets but violence is violence. Clayton. Bullying is as much as function of human nature,as eating, breathing and defecating. It starts at the lowest level of organization. We are bullied by family into beliefs and conformity.
Take mass shootings for instance. The one that started the craze is Columbine, And the trench coat mafia, were just a couple of kids who had been bullied, until they could take it no more. And what happens in school. If a kid fights back against a bully, they are usually brought before the principle.
Bullied at work and fight back, you are in trouble.
Putin's army wouldn't gain an inch were it not for bullying. Ukrainians call the meat assaults, the Orc's either run into Ukrainian fire or get shot for resisting or retreating.
Bullying is the world wide standard. Resistance, fight back is not tolerated.
