I have Rosie's performance saved on my DVR, and will watch it when I need a pick me up.

What worries me about Judge Emmett Sullivan's, case is that Todd Blanche will defy his orders, and there is nothing that Judge Sullivan can do.

Who is going to serve a subpoena on Blanche? Blanche? Who is going to arrest him and try him?

Blanche?

The nation is in the hands of scoff laws, because they control the law and the police powers of the state.. They don't obey the law, but they make us submit at the point of a gun. Ex: Good and Pretti.

The worst problem facing U.S. citizens and all life on Earth is the power of super-rich men and their corporations. That power has made most U.S. citizens poorer and has helped place all life on earth in danger of extinction.

U.S. citizens live under an oligarchy/plutocracy. This was achieved over decades by an incredibly wealthy group of men with never-ending greed. They have plundered the country to such a degree that seven of the ten richest men in the world are from the U.S. The U.S. has the most billionaires (902) of any country in the world as of 4/1/25.

One billion equals 1000 million. Elon Musk has more than 717,000 million dollars at his disposal. He aided Trump’s weakening of Social Security, Medicare, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and many programs that help working people who aren’t rich. Trump and Musk did this to give the super wealthy $4.5 trillion in tax breaks

Right! Plus the tariffs were a mechanism to tax the everyday consumer further on top of the already unequal and unfair tax burden.

“A party this eager to apologize for existing may want to consider what it’s asking anyone to vote for.” That is the question. We can’t leave the Democratic Party to the likes of Carville, Axelrod, or any of the invertebrates whose cautious, moderate, appeasing, “pragmatism” paved the way to today’s fascism. Democracy depends on it.

The building blocks seem to be falling into place for the end of the Democratic Republic.

Just a few key milestones:

1) Supreme Court exemption from criminal prosecution for Trump;

2). Senate confirmation of Todd Blanche for DOJ;

3) potential conversion of Postmaster General into a political partisan to eliminate Mail-In Voting;

4). Potential allowance of ICE or other quasi-military, or military at voting locations;

5) Potential prohibition of married women voting. (Don’t think that one is going to fly so maybe one of the distraction projects. )

In other words, the willing complicity of the Supreme Court, the Congress and the Administration in the dismantling of the Democratic Republic.

Trump is the incompetent President and paid mouthpiece and distractor-in-Chief (with his tearing down of the White House, “beautifying projects” etc) but it’s the Republican Party with the Courts who are the real villains.

Not sure who thought the Iran War was a good idea, but certainly the Republican Congress enabled it.

I miss my Louise’s Daily Song! It temporarily lifts the misery up to a higher plain, while reinforcing the message by engaging a different part of the brain and emotions. Very effective.
