HYPOCRISY Once Again -

“The “Second Amendment” wink-and-nod-endorsing-violence politics isn’t new either; Sharron Angle campaigned on “Second Amendment remedies” in 2010 and Donald Trump suggested in 2016 that the “Second Amendment people” might have to step up to stop Hillary Clinton.”

~ Thom Hartmann

And don’t forget Trump INCITED, and Kirk SUPPORTED, the Jan. 6 INSURRECTION where Federal Officers were KILLED, MAMED, TORTURED and SPAT on with Trump’s permission. He sat in front of his TV and did NOTHING.

WHERE was this support for Rep. Horton after she was murdered by a Trump supporter? Did he go to HER funeral?

The hypocrisy could not have been better spotlighted. We've had to endure moment by moment reporting on the hunt for the shooter while the DOJ has the Epstein files with information on Epstein and other perpetrators but refuse to make them public in order to provide cover...not a thought about the victims....

Still working on the House. Need 1 more Republican vote to force every member to tak a position on the record.

With respect to Trump, the Mar a Lago spa is the site where, in 2000-2001, at least one victim, Virginia Giuffre, a minor at the time, worked. I keep askin' whether the police questioned her fellow workers at the time, the clients of the spa, her employer, etc.

Case prosecutor Marie Villafaña prepared a sex-trafficking indictment against Epstein in 2006 that was not filed. That indictment and the accompanying files should be subpoened.

State cops and the state's attorneys' office in Palm Beach also investigated. I get this stuff from the Miami Herald and Palm Beach Post.

Giuffre filed civil lawsuits or had actions involving defendants such as Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, Prince Andrew, and Alan Dershowitz. Her 2015 defamation suit against Ghislaine Maxwell was settled in 2017. A 2019 lawsuit against Alan Dershowitz also involved a countersuit from Dershowitz, but all of these cases were resolved through a global settlement in 2022. Her most significant civil case was against Prince Andrew, which was settled in February 2022. All of the discovery should be made available.

Epstein is dead, and all of his lawyers' files should be subpoenaed.

"The day after the fire, at Hitler's request, President Hindenburg signed the Reichstag Fire Decree into law by using Article 48 of the Weimar Constitution. The Reichstag Fire Decree suspended most civil liberties in Germany, including habeas corpus, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, the right of free association and public assembly, and the secrecy of the post and telephone.[19] These rights were not reinstated during Nazi reign. The decree was used by the Nazis to ban publications not considered friendly to the Nazi cause."

I seriously think we're going to see mass shootings in the coming months targeting anyone not "sufficiently" right wing. Their calls about "war on liberals" and non-MAGA as we're deemed "domestic terrorists" is chilling. If you recall, back when Kash Patel was confirmed, he said that he was preparing for the biggest manhunt in history. There's only one thing that can mean.

We've been preparing for months because we anticipate things getting really bad. I've read my history over the years. We're in a deep red area, and I think we're going to see things we've not seen since the Civil War.

Finally the question, how is it that he was filmed leaving the scene ? Where were the camera's and how is the camera was focused on that uninteresting location.

So, you can spread hate about women, minorities, the other party, conspiracy theories, but it is “protected free speech.” If somebody criticizes the things you have actually said or posted, THEY can be fired? It’s happened. But, if you are a teacher or professor teaching civics or factual U.S. history, you are “woke” or “indoctrinating” people…and be fired? So, only the left can “indoctrinate” by telling people the facts, history, the truth. But, the right can say or do anything they want and it’s “protected.” They can commit crimes and be convicted, but get “pardoned.” Right wing media (controlling about 90% of it) can lie, spread misinformation and conspiracy theories. If you are a Trumper, you can do no wrong. You get praise and honors. If you are a Dem, you get threats, diatribes, fired, cancelled, or like the Speaker of the Minnesota House, assassinated. Without thoughts, prayers, or national flags at half staff. No BOTH sides don’t do it. This is how we know we are in a right wing authoritarian regime, on our way to a dictatorship.

JFK was murdered when I was a sophomore. Just this year, some records from James Jesus Angleton were opened. Still waiting for the records from the Miami CIA office, Miami FBI. Still looking for the truth.

BTW the senate refused to order DOJ to produce the files. 51-49. Hawley and Paul voted with the Dems. Murkowski and Collins could have made the difference. IMHO they're scared shitless.

Schumer brought an amendment directing Bondi to release all Epstein-related files, but Republicans voted to table it.

Later, however, emails were released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbVWGXyhk6M.

"A cache of more than 16,000 emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s private Yahoo account paints a complex, and in many instances chilling portrait of a man whose enigmatic nature has only deepened since his death. The emails reveal Epstein’s unfiltered worries, odd sense of humor, and callousness toward the coterie of young women, many of them teenagers, who entered his world. The emails do the impossible: They bring Epstein back to life. Bloomberg's Ava Benny Morrison reports.

Names mentioned in Bloomberg's reporting

Ghislaine Maxwell: Epstein's accomplice and a frequent contact in the emails.

Donald Trump: The emails contain references to Trump. In one email from 2006, Epstein instructed Maxwell to "remove trump" from a list she sent him.

Bill Clinton: Email exchanges indicate Maxwell met with "Clinton" multiple times between 2006 and 2008. Maxwell also used the Clinton Global Initiative to promote her ocean conservation nonprofit.

Peter Mandelson: The former British ambassador to the U.S. corresponded with Epstein in 2005 about arranging travel to his private island. Following the release of the emails, Mandelson was fired.

Jes Staley: Former Barclays CEO Jes Staley is mentioned in relation to a 2015 email exchange where Epstein attempted to use his connection with Staley for a potential business deal. Staley previously denied having a personal relationship with Epstein.

Jimmy Cayne: Former CEO of Bear Stearns, mentioned on a list alongside Trump and Staley in a 2006 email.

Ariane de Rothschild: CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Holding SA, was in contact with Epstein. An email from Epstein suggested a possible business arrangement involving Staley.

Doug Band: A former aide to Bill Clinton. He received gifts from Epstein, including a $35,000 watch.

Sergey Brin: The tech billionaire is mentioned in the emails.

Context for other names associated with Epstein

While the following names were not revealed in the recent Bloomberg email cache, they have been mentioned in other court documents and legal proceedings related to Epstein.

Prince Andrew: Associated with Epstein through Ghislaine Maxwell.

Alan Dershowitz: The Harvard law professor was named in lawsuits against Epstein.

Leslie Wexner: The billionaire founder of L Brands was a close associate of Epstein.

Glenn Dubin: A billionaire hedge fund manager whose wife, Eva Andersson-Dubin, was a witness in Ghislaine Maxwell's trial.

Jean-Luc Brunel: The former model scout was associated with Epstein.

stay in the game, prove your steadfastness, your loyalty, be patient, pay your dues, garner requisite experience (credentials) and then the DNC will lead you to the starting gate

That is why we lose and keep losing, no fire in the belly, a lack of authenticity.

The “two-sides” idea is horseshit. It hasn’t been the Left weaponizing speech and inciting political violence, that is the Right which revels in hate, and it has become more frequent, extreme and violent since Trump hit the campaign trail in 2016.

The underlying assumption here is that the public, i.e., we the people are simpleminded dunces whose thoughts, opinions, and beliefs can be easily molded and contorted by selected language and rhetoric. It shines a bright light on the real problem. That assumption happens now to be much more true than any of us in this space want to believe. The right is already screaming about a new report on education which reveals dismal facts and stats about the intellectual and academic achievement of students in our traditional schools. Unfortunately, the report reflects quite accurately on how poorly students perform on all measures of learning and knowledge acquisition. Blame must be assigned to where the actual fault lies, instead of on scapegoats, such as teachers, parents, or even lack of adequate funding. The fault is in a badly flawed paradigm based on the attempts to legislate and coerce education, rather than to discover what is needed and to provide it without strong-arm tactics and big brother or big father. There is an opportunity now to increase the vote in favor of democracy and Democrats by young people and young parents by moving rapidly to set children free from oppressive conditions, control, indoctrination by super-moralists from the right, and obsessive measurement and destructive scrutiny. The promise of authentic education to replace the charade which is now the authoritarian bureaucracy called public school would have instant appeal to the current and most recent victims of this defective paradigm. Or we can stick with faulty assumptions and myths and nostalgia about a golden age of schooling before Reagan. Leadership could make the difference.

Someone has to develop the documentation. Can't rely on MSM to report on it. I saw a Meidas program, but they don't have reporters interviewing Robinson's roommate, canvassing his acquaintences, lining up witnesses. There are several comments on Bluesky, but not authoritative.

According to Google, in mid-July 2025, after the Justice Department issued a memo stating no "incriminating 'client list'" was found, Kirk expressed frustration with the Trump administration's handling of the files. He urged the administration to act and pushed for greater transparency, reflecting the anger felt by many in the MAGA base who had long demanded the files' release.

Reversal after speaking with Trump

On July 14, 2025, Kirk received a phone call from Trump. The next day, on his podcast, Kirk declared he was "done talking about Epstein for the time being". This sudden reversal generated confusion and criticism among his followers, prompting his communications director to clarify that the "ball is in the administration's court" and Kirk was not entirely abandoning the issue.
