Silly people. This is A-M-E-R-I-K-A ...where corporations regulate government. This is no longer a nation in which government can regulate corporations! How primitive.

The aggrieved corporations will go to the Supreme Cult to get their unsavory rulings overturned. The Cult will conclude "Bots are people. Bots can vote, and a corporation can have as many bots as money can buy." Some holy water will be sprinkled on the ruling transcript, and the Cult will adjourn for their global yacht party tours.

On the other hand....A federal judge imposed a 14-day pause for Nexstar’s merger with its rival TV station owner Tegna, a week after Nexstar announced the deal’s closing.

The Nexstar-Tegna deal has been caught up in political cross hairs. President Trump has thrown his support over the agreement, writing on social media in February that it would “help knock out the Fake News” and to “get that deal done!”

Brendan Carr, the chair of the F.C.C., approved the deal this month, after waiving a cap on national station ownership. Carr’s approval came a day after California and New York participated in a lawsuit to block the measure.

States have targeted other antitrust matters, including Paramount’s planned takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery and the unexpected settlement of the Justice Department’s lawsuit against Live Nation.

Those of us living in states where the people still have some say in government are comforted by those actions. Unfortunately, these are the states targeted by ICE deployments for our having that say.

I try to never miss Velshi on Saturdays and Sundays..also on Friday when he takes the helm on the "Last Word" and any other time he is filling in. I agree. He's one of the finest journalists in the media.

Still hasn't reported on the 2024 election fraud.

Thanks for showing in this format. I missed Velshi because of a family get-together. The issue deserves more attention.

Love both of you men. Completely agree, Velshi is one of the best shows anywhere on TV, and would say he's the best show on cable news.

Their "shield of accountability" is indeed starting to crack. I deleted my "facecrack" when Zuck went full fascist in 2025, then followed with all things meta. Your house analogy was spot on.

Follow you religiously, share your posts daily, and look forward to Velshi each weekend, especially his "Banned Book Club." You both have become vital for processing this madness, but will absolutely continue to do so when we finally escape the insanity. And we will; this will end one day. Can only hope it happens while I'm still on this mortal coil.
