Today mine is his maniacal threat to annihilate the people (who have existed as a people for well over 2,000 years) of Iran, most of whom have even less than we do to say about what their brain-rotted leadership does in their name. Who is left to stand up for us?
VOTE. I get my ballot early next month. Between now and then I'll be contacting my congressman and senators daily. Takes five minutes for the first email, then if you copy the message and paste it twice, another maybe three minutes. Is your country worth the effort, people? Are your most treasured values worth it?
If we are to recover from this ongoing avalanche of crimes and abuses, and prevent their recurrence, we will need to pursue, prosecute, and punish ALL of them. That looks like a daunting task, but it simply must be done. Attacking only the “worst” offenses would be like spot-welding a steel ship’s hull; the remaining gaps will allow leaks that sink the vessel. We’ve seen precious little enthusiasm for the effort from current Democratic leadership, which is why they must be replaced by people with the vision, dedication, and tenacity to see this through, whatever the obstacles.
Listen to the ad, in the background there's a nearly subliminal chant of "love me . . . love me . . . love me . . ." that's how desperate DT has become for attention approval, affection, love, he's running ads on nation news begging everyone to "love me,"

If Republicans lose badly in November, as most Republican politicians expect now, he's likely to get even crazier and more dangerous faster, more desperate, more stress, more dementia.
Trump's cringeworthy tirade at the UN, combined with his self-glorifying campaign ad on Fox "news" is emblematic of the empire that we have become. Far from the values that we purport to uphold, we shout "love me" to the very world that we continually exploit, denigrate, and conduct overt and covert acts of war against. If Trump appears like a lunatic, it is only a reflection of our own foolish conceit as a nation.
