If they win, pardon the vernacular, we are fucked., we are already fucked, because that which they destroyed can not be put back together again. TRUMP has killed NATO, our international reputation, elevated China and Russia, destroyed our country,. If defeated, what was, will never be again, and worse we are saddled with his agent of chaos, the Supreme Court. They should have gone long ago,.

Thanks William I think you have it right. If not enough of we the people care enough then game over they win.

The only way that authoritarian regimes fall is from internal rot from within, when the people can no longer bear the pain and rise up, or from without as in WWII.

Look at Iran, it is a psycopathic religious regime (what religious regime is not psycopathic). It's Navy (well the Potemkin and useless navy) has been sunk, it's Air force is non existent as it's air defense system. the religious and military leadership has been eliminated, yet it still stands. Why? Because it has never built itself around the western model, not in governance or military defense.

While the rest of the world was building their armed forces for massive, and expensive, kinetic strikes, employing systems that cost billions and trillions of dollars, Iran has decentralized, both it's government (save for the Supreme Leader, which is rapidly replaced per an established pecking order?

It's Army, the Artesh, is actually supplemental to the IRGC, and its Navy was a show, it's real navy is the IRGC Navy, of 33,000 fast boats including the Heidar which moves at 110 Knots, and their tactic to defeat defenses is the mosquito swarm.

The IRGC is carved up into 31 sectors, each one with an independent an autonomous commander. And each commander has a second in command, more militant than the older leader, that will step in to fill his shoes, just like HAMAS and Hezbollah, or the Iraqi Hashd alShaabi or Popular Mobilization Force, which is Shia and looks to the Supreme leaerof Iran

And the regime is backed by its own MAGA, but more fierce and dedicated than our MAGA because it is nationalist and religious. the Basij. Over a million strong, paramilitary, they could be the the guy who has a stall in the bazaar, the owner of a tea cafe, the man leading a donkey cart, and it is the Basij that machine gunned the 50,000 protesters in January.

That regime will not be overthrown from within. Will MAGA, which is heavily armed, rise up and overthrow the current regime or will they turn their guns on those whom they "own", the libs, the blacks, browns, the "feminists", the "queers" the immigrants.

While liberals have been denouncing guns, the right wing has been stocking up building personal arsenals.

Our only hope,as I see it, is that Trump;s stupidity and war will cause America and the west to spiral inward into entropic decay, the stock market will crash, the price of gas, diesel, aviation fuel will force companies and airlines into bankruptcy, there want be enough food produced, much less transported to stave off hunger, regardless of the price of eggs and wheat.

There will be a shortage of fertilizer, as it is produced from LNG, and corn that is sown without fertilizer produces only silage. ears of corn require fertilizer, and corn is a staple in our diet, and even in industrial products, not just taco's and tortillas, but those too.

Hardest hit because of the closure of the SOH will be the global south, especially Latin and South America, which is dependent on maize or corn as we call it.

America and Europe will experience a surge of refugees seeking food.

All we fat ass Americans see is rising prices for food, gas, electronics, but wait till September the shit will hit the fan, but they are ready for that, Peter Tiel l has Palanatir, a massive data base on every one of us, and Trump has the National Data Center at Bluffdale, UT, which collects and screens, with AI, every communication in the US and maybe the world.

The current regime is fragile and insecure, and that means it is paranoid, and oppressive. The OBBB gave DHS enough money to make them the 4th largest military force in the world, and they are building concentration camps, seven of them, renting abandoned warehouses is only an intermediate measure, a stop gap, until the concentration camps are built.

I so hope that I am wrong, our only chance is for a massive turnout in November, because they have already rigged the mid terms, and a hope that enough MAGA has cleared the cobwebs from their eyes and brains, to turn against the regime.

America is a country that has sold its soul to imperialist capitalism, and has transmogrified Christianity into devil worship. The eternal class war from which we have fled has only followed us here. The enemy, as it turns out, is us. In our lucid moments, we display our best intentions, but those moments pass, and our fear and selfishness take over again.

G2's avatar

Thanks Jeffrey I believe you are right. Maybe a recession might be a game changer and we will vote the republicans out of power. But I'm not impressed with the IQ of half of our country.

Americans have always promoted and defended democracy when it was under serious threat. Since Trump took office last year, it has become clear to all but the diehard MAGA voters that America has been scammed. In less than 18 months, our lives have been turned upside down, and our wealth drained. We are at risk of the same sorts of monarchy and dictatorship we have in past generations overcome and expelled. Should the majority of Americans reject government by and for the people, in favor of RULE by a fascist racketeer, we might revisit the fate of the Third Reich a second time.

Everyday we have more evidence of moral decay in the “ leadership” of this country.

Everyday we agree we must fight this. Everyday people wonder “ How?”

We better stop wondering and we better get going it’s already being accepted by some of the Democrats.

If we can’t do anything else start locally .

When they lose? They'll try to steal.

If they win?

The insane clown posse's primary theorist, Curtis Yarvin, who controls Thiel, who controls Vance, proposes:

1. “Biodiesel”

In 2008, Yarvin suggested — in his words, “just kidding” — that society could convert the unproductive underclass into biodiesel to power San Francisco buses.

2. “Virtualization”

Permanent solitary confinement

Immersive VR so the person lives in a “rich, fulfilling imaginary world”

— humans reduced to bodies in pods, mentally elsewhere.

More on Yarvin's influence from Copilot:

**The people who “follow” Curtis Yarvin fall into a few clear, well‑documented clusters.**

Across reputable reporting, his influence shows up in *elite right‑wing political circles*, *Silicon Valley technologists*, and *online neo‑reactionary subcultures*.

(You should confirm details with trusted sources.)

---

## 🎯 1. **High‑level political figures influenced by Yarvin**

Multiple authoritative sources identify specific U.S. political actors who have cited, echoed, or engaged with Yarvin’s ideas:

- **J.D. Vance** — repeatedly cited Yarvin before becoming U.S. vice president; described as the figure “no one online has shaped more” in his thinking. [Britannica](https://www.britannica.com/biography/Curtis-Yarvin) [The Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/dec/21/curtis-yarvin-trump)

- **Steve Bannon** — listed as influenced by Yarvin’s neo‑reactionary framework. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_Yarvin)

- **Michael Anton** — Trump‑aligned theorist who has hosted Yarvin to discuss autocratic strategy. [The Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/dec/21/curtis-yarvin-trump)

- **Proposed Trump‑administration appointees (2024–2025)** — Guardian reporting notes several incoming officials follow Yarvin’s ideas on dismantling liberal democracy. [The Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/dec/21/curtis-yarvin-trump)

**Pattern:** These are not casual readers — they are *policy‑adjacent actors* who treat Yarvin as an intellectual architect for post‑democratic governance.

---

## 🧠 2. **Silicon Valley technologists & venture capitalists**

Yarvin’s early blog circulated heavily in tech‑libertarian circles:

- **Peter Thiel** — repeatedly cited as influenced by Yarvin’s Dark Enlightenment writings. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_Yarvin)

- **Marc Andreessen** — part of the Silicon Valley milieu that passed around Yarvin’s work as “hi‑tech samizdat.” [CBC](https://www.cbc.ca/radio/ideas/the-dark-enlightenment-movement-big-tech-curtis-yarvin-9.7032441)

**Pattern:** These followers are drawn to his CEO‑monarch model and his corporate‑state “Patchwork” vision.

---

## 🕳️ 3. **Neo‑reactionary (NRx) & Dark Enlightenment online communities**

- Libertarian, anarcho‑capitalist, and anti‑democratic online groups circulated his blog *Unqualified Reservations* as foundational NRx doctrine. [CBC](https://www.cbc.ca/radio/ideas/the-dark-enlightenment-movement-big-tech-curtis-yarvin-9.7032441)

- His writings are paired with accelerationist philosopher **Nick Land**, forming the core of the Dark Enlightenment. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_Yarvin)

**Pattern:** These are ideological followers, not institutional ones — they treat Yarvin as a theorist of hierarchy, anti‑egalitarianism, and “Cathedral” critique.

---

## 🏛️ 4. **Think‑tank and intellectual right circles**

- Yarvin has spoken at institutions like the **Danube Institute**, drawing interest from European and American right‑wing intellectuals. [Medium](https://medium.com/the-political-prism/curtis-yarvin-the-dark-enlightenment-guru-connected-to-jd-vance-and-peter-thiel-543ff539f500)

**Pattern:** These followers treat him as a radical political theorist rather than a policy guide.

End Copilot quote.

So, useless eaters become bus fuel or perma-encapsulated streamers/gamers.

In other words, there is no plan.

Right wing intellectuals is an oxymoron… emphasis on MORON… they are soulless ghouls and the embodiment of evil.

Soylent Green may be the inspiration here. For many years science-fiction and some mainstream writers have been postulating what a fascist or theocratic America would look like, and even without cannibalism it is ugly. Mussolini's Italy on a bad day was probably an improvement. And that Yarvin sounds like quite a piece of work. But some of his wilder ideas are probably too far out there for the bulk of the current right wingers. After all, for two centuries the Romans pretended that their emperor was just a "first among equals", and a similar fiction would continue here while the foundations were destroyed. Still, "Dark Enlightenment" is a very good way to describe his views.

My man in the pigsty view is we will have a recession within the next few months. Half the country doesn't care about the country but they care about their money. When the masses don't have enough money maybe then they might bother to vote, if we are allowed to. If they have enough working brain cells to vote the republicans out of control maybe we can move back towards a representative democracy. Seventy seven million voted for trump, eighty nine million eligible voters did not vote. That group of roughly 166 million screwed themselves and the rest of us. A mix of stupid and not caring among that huge group doesn't give me much hope.

But hope is all we have. That and the will and determination to fight like hell to stop the erosion of our freedom, our justice, our liberty and our future! Get as many people as we can to the polls in November. Stand up and fight for our children’s future!

Thanks for the positive thoughts Dianne. Where are the young people? Wish college campuses were having protests.

We have to push an anti-corruption agenda. Everything is for sell in Trump world. The Iran disaster was caused by Trump selling the US military to Israel and the Gulf Arab states. Money will control everything. Most of the white collar jobs will be eliminated and replaced by AI. Even greater inequality with no way out of poverty. We need a 2nd progressive era to save democracy and the country. I have several proposals in my substack to lead this movement.

You write beautifully and intelligently, but most of those that your arguments reach are probably already converted to your causes. How do we/you reach "ordinary unconverted people"?

I had been considering, for the last twenty years or so, the "end-game" of all that has been emerging.

If we ground the discussion in geo-political/ecological facts, not smiley face, IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL wishy-washy resistance to the human race having become a cancer on the planet, we must recognize that we are no more than half-century away from a serious, multi-species extinction event.

Intelligent, educated people and right thinking leaders who can read the writing on the wall had tried to head this off; or, at least lessen the tragedy.

However, the big money boys -- and it is all boys -- have decided it is too late and they want to suck every last penny out of the earth and go hide in select security zone pleasure domes while everything else goes to hell.

They tapped Donnie boy to front a knee-capping gang war against sanity by keeping in line the stupid and wannabe complicit fools who actually think they are going to get a free pass into never/never land if they stay faithful to the ownership society pledge.

Kept in line until the Titanic goes vertical and sinks -- while the band is playing.

The clock is ticking. when will some? most? all? realize what is coming? When the mass migrations out of sub-Saharan Africa, South or Southeast Asia begin with millions of souls seeking water, food, survival?

When the pressure triggers the nukes to start flying?

Perhaps, first, in the middle east? or perhaps first Pakistan on India... India on Pakistan... or North Korea on Japan... Russia on Germany, France on Russia, Etc., etc., etc., etc.

Romans never imagined the Roman Empire could disintegrate... The Maya lived in a universe of their own creation until it all collapsed. It happens.

The felon in chief just gave himself and his billionaire buddies $1.7 billion of our tax dollars as damages for the “law fare” waged against them by Democrats. That law fare that is their signature tool. I’m sure his cult members are happy to donate the money they need for food, clothing, shelter, medical care so that he and his cronies can have bigger yachts, more vacation homes, more security guards,

Mao wrote that “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” We may come to that again, as we did in the Civil War, but if we do we will all lose, as the world will take full advantage, and our grandkids could be speaking Mandarin. That is why we have to figu to keep our Constitution and legal system and make them work as they should again. Because the only alternative is blood and self-annihilation, as there are plenty of Americans who will not lightly assume the chains of serfdom. Or so I believe. And hope, for the sake of those worldwide who are not in the loathsome class of the morbidly rich.

Trump’s supporters are not all “poorly educated.” Some are highly educated. They include engineers, lawyers, doctors and other college-educated business people. But they have all been “brain-washed” by the main-stream media that continues to treat Trump as if he were a legitimate “public servant.” The one thing they have in common with Trump is they are greedy.

We have to chase down and publicize the growing evidence that the voting machines have been screwed with. Most of the left has been going along with the last twenty months of tragedy , because we believed that the election had been honest. I no longer believe that. I will be putting time and energy over the next few weeks and tracking down these links myself. But i'm also working fifty hours a week, so i'm hoping that somebody with the leisure and resources to do real digging can pick up this torch.
