I keep sayin' that MAGA and many of the lumpen unpersuadable could care less about issues, Thom.
They're visceral. "Trump hates dogs" is more persuasive than the FACT that he is a felon, a rapist, a serial grifter. That he is a monster who would arrest or kill some of us if he is elected. A "Trump hates dogs" segment on 60 Minutes and the nightly news could do him in.
In my demographic, "not suckers or losers" is more persuasive than a corrupt SCOTUS, than income disparity, that he stole women's rights, etc. https://rvat.org/
