Almost in tears. He can’t believe someone would be so ugly to him. ELON MUSK! What a Big Sad this is for him (Jeff Tiedrich’s term). Elon Musk BEMOANING, in a near-tearful whimper, his over-hyped stock value being cut in half. He musk be down to $220 billion now from near $450 billlion. That is so Big Sad. YOU can see how wounded he is in the video clip. He appears to be truly hurt. This is the world’s most unempathetic narcissist. He just took USAID food and life-saving medicine from children worldwide, but he calls his critic a jerk. How unbelievable. How self-unaware MEGA-MAGA-JERK Elon Musk is.
Remember, when you leave your home with your little protest sign--you are not alone, With the anticipated thousands [million+?] of heroic protestors on April 5th (actually any and all days, including Women's March) here's an updated partial list of those fighting back every day [as of 3-30-25). I'm also adding courageous law firms who haven't caved. Besides upstanding lawyers, and law-abiding honorable (present and former) judges (including James Boasberg, chief judge, D.C. District Ct.), here's a growing list of Profiles in Courage men, women, and advocacy groups who refuse to be cowed or kneel to the force of Trump/Musk/MAGA/Fox "News" intimidation:
I'll begin (again) with Missouri's own indomitable Jess[ica] (à la John Lewis's "get in good trouble") Piper/"The View from Rural Missouri," then, in no particular order, Francie Garber Pepper (1940-2025), Heather Cox Richardson/"Letters from an American," Joyce Vance/"Civil Discourse," Bernie Sanders, AOC, Gov. Perhaps I should add our nation's motto--and on our Great Seal--the phrase "E pluribus unum" (out of many, One ). Ii's 13 letters makes its use symbolic of the original 13 Colonies which rebelled against the rule of the Kingdom of George III . . .And now we protest together against King Donald. As my rural MO. indomitable Jess Piper always says: "Solidarity."
Not sure if you caught this yesterday, but here is what Erin Burnett reported on CNN at around 7 PM last night (Wednesday, April 9, 2025) on her show ‘Out Front’:
“Who benefited from today’s incredible market turnaround and surge? I want to show you this. [Stock market graph appears on the screen showing a steep rise in the Dow Jones Wednesday afternoon.) … It could really be important. This morning at 9:37, just after the markets opened, Trump posted: ‘THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!’ And then he adds the letters ‘DJT’ — ‘DJT’ is the ticker symbol for his own company — a company that had plunged along with everything else [over the past week]. Fastforward to 13:30 today – Trump pauses those sweeping tariffs. His stock soars 21%. So anybody who actually bought DJ T made a lot of money. Everyone should have a problem with this. Former Bush White House lawyer Richard W Painter posted: ‘Market manipulation and misleading statements made with intent to affect securities prices and other fraudulent acts, in connection with securities markets, are federal crimes.’ These are serious things that should be looked into. But Trump‘s comments right now are doing little to restore the trust [in the markets] despite the fact that US Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent told reporters today that everything we’ve seen … all of it … was part of a grand plan driven by the president’s strategy last Sunday. ‘This was his strategy all along.’ Yet, according to President Trump: ‘I think it came together early this morning. … We wrote it up this morning, without consulting our lawyers, from our hearts.’ Just to be clear today is Wednesday and Bessent said this happened Sunday.”
My comments: So much for playing by the rules. Yes, indeed, “these are serious things that should be looked into.” Is Trump above the law? You bet — if he gets away with it. There should be a hue and cry from everyone who has anything to do with the stock market, Wall Street or, for that matter, all of us who see this for what it is — criminal activity: insider trading, in plain sight by POTUS. If they (our so-called ‘representatives’) don’t do anything about it, we, the people, should. What can we do? Reclaim Democracy by signing a RECALL PRESIDENT TRUMP petition and handing Congress 10 million or more of our signatures. Then let’s see what happens!

‘Out Front’ Evidence of Insider trading by DJ T
