Your hit/smear piece on Jill Stein is the first time after years of reading your essays when I believe you have lost your senses. No one is perfect but to typify her as a grifter speaks more to who you are than to her. You, Mehdi Hasan, Alexandra Ortiz-Cortez and others have smeared your own reputations by piling on the only candidate on 47 state ballots who represents peace and planet survival in a serious way in this upcoming election. Attacking those on the true left is part and parcel of a Democratic Party that enables Fascism. I am a former Democratic Party member of 50 years who has become independent. I served for two years as a Party Committeeman for Westport, CT and watched with horror as the party establishment facilitated the re-election of the egregious Joe Lieberman after he was defeated in the Senate primary by CT's present governor, Ned Lamont. I know up front and personal who you are defending when you attack Jill Stein, not for her healthy policy positions, but for your defiant denialism of the role Democrats are playing in the Gaza and Lebanon genocides. You should rightfully be ashamed of yourself.
