As a parent of a non ADHD child I can attest to the classroom suffering of many non ADHD children that is perpetrated upon them by the "watch me experience myself" ADHD child. Everything you say about the structure of the classroom is true. But there are many who are effected in a good many ways by the ADHD acting out child. Among other things the chaotic classroom, the physical acting out, the verbal acting out, the impulsivity of actions (intended or not). The classroom for many non ADHD children is not a safe or secure place to be. There are probably many alternative learning situations that parents of ADHD children can find out about. But, they do usually cost. I have not seen that many good practical suggestions for the public school system for incorporating the ADHD child in the real world classroom so that everyone can benefit from that learning experience - whether we agree with it or not as that's where most of our children go to school. Maybe Horace Mann got it wrong.
The thing about 100 year flooding is that they can happen any time ie tomorrow.
Thank You,Nigal, and will reStack ASAP ๐๐ฏ๐
