When I heard disability cases, once in a while we'd get som traumatized claimants, typically crime victims, who had a "racist" diagnosis. There is no SS Listing of Impairment for it but the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and many experts argue that for a behavior to be considered a mental illness, it must deviate from normative behavior. Because racism has been pervasive and deeply ingrained in American society for centuries, it is considered a societal norm that needs to be actively unlearned and addressed through policy and education, not medical treatment for the perpetrator.
Systemic mental illnesses are in Listing 12.06. Social Security Administration (SSA) listing 12.06 in the "Blue Book" (official medical guide) covers Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders for adults. This listing outlines the specific criteria that must be met for an individual to potentially qualify for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits based on the severity of their condition.
To meet the requirements of listing 12.06, you must provide medical documentation that satisfies the criteria in both Paragraph A and Paragraph B, or the criteria in both Paragraph A and Paragraph C.

Paragraph A requires medically documented findings of at least one of the following: persistent generalized anxiety with associated symptoms, persistent irrational fear leading to avoidance, recurrent severe panic attacks occurring at least weekly, recurrent distressing obsessions or compulsions, or recurrent distressing recollections of trauma. Note that trauma- and stressor-related disorders are primarily evaluated under listing 12.15.
Paragraph B (Functional Limitation)
Paragraph B requires that your condition results in an extreme limitation of one, or a marked limitation of two, specific areas of mental functioning. These areas include the ability to understand, remember, or apply information; interact with others; concentrate, persist, or maintain pace; and adapt or manage oneself.
Paragraph C (Serious and Persistent Disorder)
Alternatively, Paragraph C can be met if you have a medically documented history of a serious and persistent disorder (at least two years) with evidence of ongoing treatment that lessens symptoms and a minimal capacity to adapt to changes.

I'm old so I remember when many white judges objected to affirmative action and to "diversity." We lost many ABA judicial division members (mostly from south of the Mason Dixon line, but some from the north) when we started having diversity standards. I was an officer, later chair, later represented them in the ABA House of Delegates, of a group that included many strident state judges. Had to keep the eye on the ball. Find common ground.
Some of the judges I used to deal with daily became MAGATs. That includes some Native Americans, Hispanics, Blacks, etc. Thgey had an attitude adjustment in 2017 when Trump emasculated our position in an executive order. Most of those MAGAts have since flipped. But not all of them.

Then, DOJ abruptly announced they would not cooperate but conduct their own investigation. I cannot stop thinking about the news that broke out yesterday--the criminal department of the DOJ will not investigate Jonathan Ross, the agent who murdered Good but instead investigate Renee Good and her widows's political activities when they were reportedly not activists. Investigate the victims?? This is totally outrageous!! They are giving Ross a pass for what we all saw--him brutally shooting Good after she kindly tried to dissuade the situation. In the across-the-bridge Selma march led by the incredibly brave Lewis, most participants were black. There were a few whites, but far fewer local whites, those whites were from up north. This does not reflect that all the deep Dixie whites were patently racist.
