The different flavors of bigotry are America’s oldest wedge issues, and are an effective way to stoke anger and hate in our ill-educated white “Christian” citizens. Just like guns, abortion, human sexuality, and the Big Lie, the factions drive these wedges into their followers’ brains with persistent party propaganda to manipulate behavior. Manchin is just another of the tools that the big factions employ to maintain their status quos. I believe that America can become “a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-religious democracy” when our citizens, our free press and our elected officials unite to promote our general welfare and fight the factions. I also believe that Someone can help make this happen.
A friend recently died and her grandchild was born a few days later. Someone remarked that "nature has a way of filling all the holes". We need to keep that in mind as America evolves. No matter how hard the Republicans try, they cannot stop the math concerning our future. Their stupid revolution is a bust and their hold will be broken.
