Thanks for that, I've been Unity for decades and I'm appalled at what is going on with the religious wrong. I never think about the concept of blasphemy except for what they do with scripture on the right, which really is just plain wrong, on every level.

People defining their support for Trumpism and Republican dogma as anything other than irreligious, racist, and destructive to democracy are only fooling themselves. They are dead-enders. And so are the wildly profitable churches that churn out a toxic brew of false religion and wingnut propaganda as a business model, preying on the susceptible flocks of angry, hateful bigots looking for justification to blame "others" for their loss of white privilege and gray matter. The world is moving on. It simply has to.

We are living a true life American Horror Story, and some churches are playing their part in it. Organized religion is just layer after layer of imagined ways to appease the god(s) of some priest, minister, llama, or shaman's choice. Maybe the Scandinavians have it right. I do appreciate the great teachers like Jesus and Buddha. You can find that path and walk it without a building and government tax haven. They did.
