Great post! Keep em coming!

Investigative journalists are the unsung heroes trying to get the truth out under an avalanche of lies.

A parliamentary democracy like in Canada and around the world is superior to the American abortion -- in effect, a two-party/two-Senator/Electoral College/gerrymandered fcking nightmare. But until we change the guts of the Constitution (ain't never gonna happen), a third party in America, albeit knee-jerk popular, is actually a horrible idea after analyzing the legal and political implications in depth.

Bottom line: Take over the existing party! Why would small-d democrats want to weaken the only party with any realistic chance of thwarting the party of full-blown plutocracy/autocracy/kakistocracy?

...Amended to include the strong possibility of third parties surviving without trying to solve the problem of post-democracy on the national level by screwing too much with the Constitution: states, counties, and cities adopt "rank-choice voting" across the red-blue boundaries. It's an awesome loophole to fix one of the main glitches, which is under-representation.
