I follow the Denver Broncos football team. About my only sports following. This is Rumor (off) season. Most everybody wonders about what they are going to do about their (lack of) Quarterback situation. Most of the available QB's have been signed by other teams. Rumor has it that the Broncos were waiting to deal for Houston's Deshaun Watson. This would probably cost the National Debt but he is a good QB. This morning headlines are that he is being sued for sexual assault. That will save the Bronco's a lot of money because they do not dare deal for him now. If history is any indication, one law suit and more will come.

The situation with Cuomo is all too typical. We are approaching 50 years of the sexual harassment "enlightenment". Guess the Gov did not get the memo throughout his whole life. Years ago my HR job involved educating all new employees about this subject. Corporations take it very seriously, because when they neglect to take care of it, the court cases involved are costly. Cuomo is going to cost NY a pretty penny. He may be paying out of pocket as well he should. After these women escaped the situation, he probably never gave them another thought. They on the other hand will always be trying to push him out of their thoughts and no amount of money will change that.

I read that the first cases of harassment often involved women of color. Also, Title IX was used on a basis of unequal treatment. Fitting, I must say, because it simply is a human rights issue. Also, the time has come to fight the legal battle for LGBTQ rights. I love the term gender chaos; it reminds me how uncomfortable new things can be, but we should learn to include everyone. The work will not be done till public safety is a concept that is all inclusive. What a lot of work we have to do worldwide!

I have billionaire fatigue and so does our economy. Time to take care of that. It all leads back to human rights and exploitation. "Behind every great fortune lies a great crime."-Honore de Balzac
