So the old “don’t eat yellow snow” was really the progenitor of Nancy Reagan’s “just say no to drugs”.

On a related note, Tucker Carlson says the burning of Fox’s fake Christmas tree by a deranged homeless man was an attack on Christianity. Perhaps it was an attempt to re-ignite the sun.

More history that shows it is normal to want to get high. Portugal and Oregon figured it out.

If I met Jesus tomorrow (these days you never know), I would address him as "Teacher". Thom's fond of The Sermon on the Mount....probably Jesus's greatest teaching moment.

And speaking of things flying, the Webb Space Telescope is on it's way! Who needs Santa to cheer up the geeks? I wonder what we will know about the universe by next Christmas. 🚀 🛰 🌠🌌

While Thom's version is more detailed than the one I told a Russian immigrant client while he was being treated on my table, at the very end of the story he gave a huge belly laugh and said, with his Russian accent, "Flyink reindeer!"

Best Christmas message today:

“This is an emergency Christmas Day warning to President Trump. You are either completely ignorant about the so-called vaccine gene therapy that you helped ram through with Operation Warp Speed or you are one of the most evil men who has ever lived to push this toxic poison on the public and to attack your constituents who they simply try to save their lives and the lives of others. We're about to lay out the basic, incontrovertible facts that you told Candace Owens just a few days ago is nothing but a raft of dirty lies." - Alex Jones

Uh oh ...dissent within the ranks.

Thank you, Thom, for illuminating the fact that the modern concept of Santa Clause is mostly a marketing scheme run by Coca-Cola, and though not mentioned here, certainly compounded by the Hallmark industry. It is worth pointing out here that much of our understanding of American culture and ritual is mostly created as an advertising campaign to sell useless crap to Americans. I am specifically talking about the diamond engagement ring and DeBeers. It wasn't until the 1930's that giving a diamond for engagement became common and it was all because of a marketing campaign of the DeBeers corporation. Diamonds aren't rare or valuable and are nearly impossible to resell. They are mined by slave labor and the industry is detrimental to the environment. No self respecting Thom Hartman follower should wear diamonds or covet precious metals without understanding the consequences of supporting the mining industry and the jewel cartel.
