It's obscene that pharmaceuticals can profit from a pandemic especially after it was tax payer money that bought the research. They should have zero monetary incentive. And the FDA that employs ex pharmaceutical CEOs. They have to sign a non conflict of interest disclosure. With the amount of corruption that goes on, who can trust these upper management types? Doctors have no autonomy any longer and prescribe based on protocols and guidelines that are derived from a litigious society. Thats why I continually see the poor quality of healthcare being dished out. It's gotten worse over the past 10 years. All doctors do anymore is throw pills at patients with no interest with who their patients really are. Not only are we going broke, the care that we are getting is pathetically substandard. Years ago when I became a registered nurse, I said to myself that I was doing it so I would know what NOT to do. I never really thought that would become a reality.
