It amazes me that Republicans speak up for Ukraine, which is fighting to keep its Democracy while doing all they can to destroy our own.

Increasingly, they're not. Six Republicans voted last week to forbid American support for finding and preserving evidence of Russian war crimes in Ukraine. https://thehill.com/news/house/3261353-here-are-the-six-republicans-who-voted-against-investigating-russia-for-war-crimes/

Timing-everything is about timing. The committee has prepared and investigated, now let's see if the timing gods are with us when they go for it. I want to hear some anger and outrage but that which is based on facts for a change. The police gave us a good preview of how this should go. We will soon get the first hand accounts of the other victims. We can finally know the extent of the damage to the property and the injuries, both physical and mental, of the staff members and Capitol employees. We must learn the dollar figures connected to the insurrection while learning about anyone on the inside that facilitated it.

I just want the truth, the facts, and honest emotions. Nothing will change the minds of that 57% of Republicans---they won't be listening to their own country's history. They have already denied and stifled what has happened on this continent over the last 400 years. So, you can bet they have no problem with not acknowledging what literally happened right in front of their eyes.

....and so you did; I'm being kicked down by my careless reading.

Thom, excuse me for being literal about your largely rhetorical question.

The reason why Democracy Party voters never express outrage is simple. Long before we reach "rage" at a Democratic Party criminal, the Democratic Party jettisons the criminal, even if they did nothing, like Al Franken. No outrage needed to clean our house. When Democracy Party voters express outrage at NaziRepublican Party politicians, nothing happens. The NaziRepublican Party sees members following party philosophy, and Democratic Party leadership never, ever, prosecutes NaziRepublican criminals.

Just a little disagreement with semantics; instead of kick-uppers and kick-downers, I would refer to those like Trump, Cruz, etc. as kiss-uppers and kick-downers.
