The intellectual vomit of "They The Profiteers" seems an outsized purging upon "We The People" compared with our actual societal concerns. Thanks for promoting the engineered panic, Goebbels media conglomerates!
I'm glad however that Betsy found the courage to reiterate Ike's warning regarding "...the liberal educational establishment..". Funny how They exclusively project. Literally. Everything. I wonder if, alternatively, Eisenhower had said something about the dangers of a growing military-industrial complex and how Betsy would respond to such concerns given brother Erik's business dealings..???
I think the righteous indignation crowd has ALREADY adopted the LGBTQ issue. NBC just did a report on the Katy Texas School District. They went from 1 library book issue last year to 70+ this year. The reporter said half of the books complained about recently have to do with stories concerning LGBTQ characters.
I guess they would rather have their young people educated on these matters by the internet, their friends, or their own experiences in college. A piece of actual literature somehow offends their sensibilities. All must cater to their taste rather than being hands-on in monitoring their own kids and leaving other parents to do the same. Pretty old Republican story though, sex is bad but guns and violence are just a way of life. That's how they roll....morally.
I suggest doing a "Conversations with Great Minds" with Nicole Hannah-Jones, co-author and editor of the "1619 Project." I have learned so much from this book. I think it is at the center of the furor about "CRT" and teaching black history.
