It wouldn't be the fist pair of murderous, sick bastards to work together. These are NOT human beings, humans are what they hunt down and use. That's a big ugly concept that most people cannot wrap their heads around.
Both of these criminals have been exposed, but the old saying is "money talks and bullshit walks". If you are the prosecutor, you know you will be up against those funds and what influence it can buy. Hell, you'll also be up against jurors and judges that worship that wealth as well.
