I was in my 20s during the 1960s. (I was born before Pearl Harbor) and if I may add, women who are not as old as I am really do not understand what’s happening to them right now. You have to have lived it to really comprehend the powerlessness. Along with shifting money to the wealthy, these people are shifting women, people of color and people who don’t hide their male/female gender differences successfully, back to abject poverty of being.

its an horrendous backward approach and utterly unrealistic in this life to stay barefoot and pregnant...for women childbearing and raising without support and a profession are doomed to poverty.

Been there. Done that. Shopped around for doctors I didn’t owe money to for my two daughters health care.

I had a couple years as a single mother working 3 jobs, with minimal support, then married again, 6 years w/one wk/yr vacation supporting my husband's graduate program. So can relate.
