Health for profit outside the US barely exists.

OK, so people can opt for it if they want, (as here in the UK).

Free healthcare can be found across the civilised world as a right - just not in the US.

I was seriously ill from 2005 till 2016. Because I applied for and was awarded disability in 2007, I ultimately got Medicare - in 2009, 2 years after my diagnosis. One year I contemplated Advantage and bought in. THEN got another terrible diagnosis: breast cancer. So I found out about “Advantage” in that one year! I’m shocked at the number of people who sign up to pay MORE and get less. Ultimately I had a liver transplant, transferred to one of America’s best hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, where Medicare and Medigap ($144/mo) paid for almost ALL of that. YET I still ended up with NO resources left. After 12 years of illness in the US, I truly was at the end of my line. Alive but in poverty. The American Way. I do wish I’d moved to Canada or Europe in my 30s or 40s. And left this now collapsing pile of bones in a desert.
