Part A pays 100% Part B only pays 80%. That 20% puts a lot of people into debt.
We just got our bills. Besides Part B we also buy BC/BC Federal to cover. Better than being pound foolish. We see people who thought they had "full coverge" but the caps were exceeded or Medicare denied the claim.
Medicare is as complete as the British NHS or the Canadian/ Ontario coverage. Where I live, we have foreigners or people with dual citizenship who opt for other care. Some insurers will pay for vacations so that treatment is perfored in a foreign country where costs ate a tenth of US costs.
