I was just communicating via text with my 78-year-old cousin in Ohio, who, when I described the horrors of the California wildfires, wrote she was sending them love from her heart for their loss and then said it is the democrat's fault there isn't enough water. Sigh. I had filled her in on the facts but said nothing about the lack of water, only the dry conditions and Santa Ana Winds that make it ripe for a fire to start every year. She texted back: listen to Fox News. They told us how the democrats are hiding that they are at fault for a lack of water. I didn't contradict her but sent her a link to Calmatters.org that describes Newsome's rebuff of Trump's lies about the water supply because Newsome didn't allow water to be taken due to the need to protect the smelt in the Delta and his made-up; name for a report that doesn't exist. I hope she reads it. I told her I would listen to the Fox News report (I mean B.S.), which I didn't say.
