From further violating the Constitution to starting a war with Iran, Trump looked at all his options until contesting the election and being an integral part of the planning, organizing, and inciting an Insurrection were all that remained from holding on to his authoritarian power. He also played an indispensable role in his attempted coup by allowing the Insurrection to continue for hours after the death, injuries, and property damage.
Now the same relatively few billionaires who helped to put Trump in office want to continue to build upon the authoritarian foundation of their dreams: A government only responsive to them:
