Thom, this is dynamite. It needs to be part of the Jan. 6 Committee's expose'. When the American people learn the Trump/Eastman/Giuliani scheme was a Republican replay, the outrage will become deafening. You must know someone on the Committee's staff, or know someone who does: get this piece to them ASAP, please.

If anyone else had the time to completely clean their house before Luttig could fully answer a question during the hearings, you may want to read his entire statement that he wrote before his appearance this afternoon:

Wonder what would have happened if the insurrection had not happened. People that are trying to rehabilitate Pence by acting like he was some kind of hero may be way off the mark. He genuinely wanted to know if he could do that. My take on what he did was that it was in his own self-interest, because he knew he was working with a criminal. Good old Mike did not want to end-up in jail. Disgrace might have figured into his decision a bit.

Thom's work on the history was brilliant before and after the fact! Bill Maher made the call ahead of time too---unfortunately he didn't read Thom's info so he could have told people how it would happen.
