And here we have a working model for "Christian" white supremacy...

Carlson is essentially producing an "as seen on tv" infomercial, showcasing an example of a successful effort in cleansing a nation of its undesirables, its truth tellers, and generally any inhabitant not falling in line with the doctrine of oligarchy.

This televised event further promotes white Christian supremacy, and most importantly, demonstrates a nation where such a morbid fantasy has largely become status quo. Fox is showing its adherents that indeed such an outcome is possible. In short, Hungary is being sold as a success story in the world of straight Christian white domination.

As for our nation and its response to this single event, I see another moment of truth on the horizon. Will this be the bridge too far? Is it acceptable to promote and flirt with authoritarian criminal regimes?

For a country so concerned with "national security", I should assume this event places Carlson on a no fly list. But I do not assume this because I have seen "national security" to mean national obedience.

Jesus was not an Oligarch. I wonder if Tucker had to show his vaccination card?

In the Christian Power movement (my term), Jesus is not discussed in terms of moral philosophy or his selfless acts - "Jesus" = power. Nothing more, nothing less. Jeff Sharlet is a great resource on this topic.
