I agree; Jesus was closer to Gaia. One of those talks you mention in Matthew was when Jesus reprimanded the law-abiders for cleansing everything that went into their body, as if external "pollution" was the problem. The problem, Jesus told them, came from inside their bodies, specifically the toxins being spewed from the heart of their being.
