Presumably, he has said that and much more in earlier books and in many daily rants. But a new hot off the presses book spelling this message out clearly by a respected scholar might strike a chord and attract wide attention in the nick of time, especially for middle-of-the-road, undecided, or swing voters. A book tour and media interviews would boost interest and controversy and could be the deciding factor in that election. I would hope there is a new chapter on how the indelible image of leaders, experts, and authority figures firmly planted early in hierarchical schools inchoately but potently lends credence to the impression and belief that obedience to a beloved and presumably benevolent leader/teacher is virtuous and essential for safety, security, and salvation.
