WE the People Need To Show Courage
While the Democratic party fritters away due to its indulgence to corporate PAC $$ it’s becoming apparent that both parties are now resolute that $$ by small donors will not solve the problem of big corporate spending by such entities such as AIPAC and the Muskrat. These influential spending machines are essentially corrupting the democracy WE demand and buying off political influence.
Yes it costs $$ to run a campaign because campaigns need personnel to do the task but buying commercial ads, billboards, and influence to the tune of billions of dollars is morally repugnant. In 2008 before the Citizens United 5-4 decision led by a Nazi SCOTUS, independent federal campaign spending was $416M. In 2024 that number is 10x that amount, resting at $1.9B. This spending parallels the erosion of a republic for WE the People. Democrats as well as the Nazi Republican party are responsible for this demise of our country.
WE the People need to wrest control of the political process out of hands of big money and WE are now realizing that there is a way to get successful candidates elected without power driven big money political influencers like AIPAC and Muskrat out of government. This takes WE the People courage and spreading the word about political candidates that are not beholden to $$ influence. Candidates like Peggy Flanagan, Abdul El-Sayed, Brad Lander to name a few, to say no to $$ and be willing to stand for what is morally right.
It’s the one Honorable Republican who will protect and defend US taxpayers from the Tempertantrump Administration/Project 2025. Millions of soldiers have given their lives to protect and defend Congress and SCOTUS. Now is the moment to put your career and possibly your one life on the line to protect and defend. Otherwise, you have not only lost your career and life, but also your honor.
