Well, at least 61 million Americans listened in November 2018 and 81 million again in 2020, so the statistical curve seems to be heading in the right direction. One would hope anyway -- "the arc of the moral universe [bending] toward justice," and all of that.

Millions upon millions of disgusted Americans were fed up enough with Republican seditious delusions and deliberate falsehoods to have out-voted the worthless fckers -- those Putinesque authoritarians dumb enough and corrupt enough to have lost spectacularly the House, the Senate, and the presidency all in just four years due to their castrating fealty to arguably the most flawed human being on planet Earth and misplaced fealty to their own irreligious and impolitic concepts of religion and politics. Ergo, the adage: "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross" (or maybe a Bible upside down).

Trouble is, will the majority of Americans still listen in 2022, 2024, and beyond? And, will THEY be listened to? Because, you know, not killing -- or, say, not "reforming" (WTF-ever) -- the idiotic filibuster will effectively kill the thrust of Biden's presidency, his barely progressive agenda, and any reasonable chance the Democrats might have had to beat the midterm math and long odds of 2022, an unfortunate fact.

Trumpism lives on. The demise of democracy is ensured. Unless Democrats can overcome Republican voter suppression.

Thanks, Joe, for proving the hard truth of America: She is definitely NOT that mythical "shining city on a hill," an inspiration to the world. Lady Liberty instead inhabits a rat-infested slum, a plutocratic, racist pox on society and humanity. One man standing "bravely" against the many, against truth and justice, while shamelessly taking bribes from the Chamber of Commerce, is certainly the "American way."

Critical to Hitler becoming the vice chancellor was the votes of the Catholic legislators who had a third of the seats in the German parliment. The pact concordat between the Nazi Party and Pope Pius XII formalized the relationship but the agreement preceeded the vote that put Hitler and the Nazi in power. The Catholic Church leaders saw the Nazi as preferable to the Communists after seeing their income from their churches in Russia drastically reduced.

Key in Germany was the Nazi control of the media and the police forces. It is much the same with the elites in the United States and the effect is the same. Our country's brown shirts may wear blue uniforms but their actions are no less oppressive.

The only way that our Government is going to get anything done is elect strong majorities. If the Republicans win they do nothing beneficial. If Democrats win but without super majority, Republicans block everything. Infrastructure is a great example of this. Republicans did nothing and now block our efforts. Right now we rank 13th in the world. I would say worse because I have been to some of the countries that are lower on the list and they are better. Taiwan is much better and ranked lower. https://www.pgpf.org/chart-archive/0215_infrastructure-ranking-by-country-world-economic-forum

Seriously, I would like to know what "white culture" in America is. The thought makes me laugh. Is a representative of that group currently wearing baggy shorts, a tank-top, and sandals with socks? Dear goddess, is there no end to Kilmeade's ignorance and racism?! Was there a tiki torch and Confederate flag nearby? What a scared little man!

Indeed the poison and the number of channels to present it has increased, but so has the opposition. They are younger and more astute than ever, not to mention their fashion sense is far more eclectic. Gen Z voted for Joe...65% did. They have been listening; you never know what their AirPods are connected to.
