I've been saying this for months now. It's time to clean house and start over. We the people need to find a way to get rid of all of these corrupt politicians and start from scratch with new rules to prevent this from happening again. Or at least enforce the ones we have on the books. We're not even doing that anymore.

If we don't do something radical soon, there won't be anything left to reset anymore.

I'm convinced that the system was rigged for the wealthy, by the wealthy to begin with, then baked in with the difficulty of amending the Constitution. The many wealthy Supreme Court Justices tweaked the laws from time to time to ensure the wealthy maintained and grew their power, such as by granting corporations the same rights as people.

Think about who the framers of the original constitution were. All landholders, which meant wealth back in those days. The others, like Benjamin Franklin, were outliers and he was a Quaker but the descriptions of him didn't sound like he was poverty stricken.

The United States was built by wealthy landholders who didn't fight the British over patriotism. They just wanted to keep all of that tax money for themselves and convinced the uneducated farmers and tradesmen to fight the war for them while lying to them about what they would gain from it.

Little else changed once the territory that became the United States became a country unto itself. The same type of people still run it and they're running it into the ground now because of globalism. I'm not against globalism, just the way it's being exploited at our expense.

The corruption in this administration is the norm.

Everything they do is based on a lie.

The Supreme Court has been the author of this amoral conspiracy, and has enabled much of this overthrow of decency.

The chaos bestowed on all of our lives is born of these fascist forces.

Democrats need to clear up the mess they own in going along with this chaos.

Integrity is the only answer.

They need to build on that core value, and be direct and honest in order to call out this

Grift of the Trump machine.

The corruption is reaching end-stage societal limits.

We know the answer, Scandal exists, or is ignored, only because the media's bullhorn, and the right wing media has the biggest bullhorn, be it the Murdoch's or the opinion editors of say the NYT.

And at the moment, Trump has the media by the balls and they are terrified, thus under this control.

Look at the list of executives and billionaires who accompanied Trump to China, besides the usual (Musk,Zuckerberg,Cook, Huang et al), they included

Blackrock Chairman and CEO Larry Fink

Blackstone Chairman, CEO and co-founder Stephen Schwarzman

Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg

Cargill Chairman and CEO Brian Sikes

Citi Chairman and CEO Jane Fraser

Coherent CEO Jim Anderson

GE Aerospace Chairman and CEO H. Lawrence Culp

Goldman Sachs Chairman and CEO David Solomon

Illumina CEO Jacob Thaysen

Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach

Meta President and Vice Chairman Dina Powell McCormick

Micron Chairman, President and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra

Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon

Visa CEO Ryan McInerney

And it all has to do with money. Liberal values, altruism, human decency, empathy and a conscience, are not conducive to becoming wealthy, much less multi millionaires and billionaires, and thus controlling politics and hence society.

The secret of success is sociopathy. Those that went to China with Trump, who control and own the press are sociopaths and psychopaths.

Here are the professions of psychopaths

CEO / Corporate Executives: Absolute power, high financial risk, and the ability to make strategic, sometimes ruthless, decisions without emotional interference.Lawyers: The ability to manipulate arguments, navigate loopholes, and detach ethically from the outcome.

Media (TV/Radio) Personalities: High need for attention, superficial charm, and an inflated ego.Salespersons: The need for intense persuasion, a drive to close deals, and the ability to manipulate without ethical concern

Surgeons: The requirement for ice-cold focus and the ability to remain emotionally detached during life-or-death procedures.Journalists: Ruthless drive to chase scoops, which often involves stepping on toes or ignoring emotional boundaries

.Police Officers: Authority over others and a lack of fear in high-stress, dangerous situations.Clergy: Positions of power and influence over followers' lives, combined with the ability to manipulate narratives.

Chefs: The high-pressure, chaotic environment of fine dining often attracts controlling or tyrannical leaders.

Civil Servants / Politicians: Bureaucracy provides red tape that can be navigated with cunning and a drive for control over policy.Conversely, individuals with high psychopathic traits tend to steer clear of jobs requiring deep human empathy, such as care aides, nurses, therapists, and charity workers.

You can explore more about this research in the Forbes analysis of Dr. Kevin Dutton's findings or read the full study Vice coverage on how these traits correlate with specific career paths.

I looked up nurses: "The prevalence of sociopathy among nurses is estimated to be well below the general population average of 1% to 4%."

I've worked with surgeons, and I am certain that at least some of the ones I worked with are psychopaths. Still, they were some of the best.

Being empthatic is a job requirement for a nurse, and being empathetic got Pretti killed.

To be a good surgeon, one can not have any empathy, for you are cutting into people.

This is a battle over what form of government we are to have, a democracy or an empire. We are not fighting them to remain a democracy; they are fighting us to remain an empire. Yeah, it says "republic" on the label, but what empire has ever told the truth? So they lie, cheat, steal, and murder to keep their power, but only when we let them get away with it. And only those who are scared off or bought off let this empire keep going.

Need to Counter Citizens United by restoring Transparency. The Federalist claim that they want to go back to the original intent of the Founders. At the time of the Constitution speech was only a live event. The audience always knew if the speaker was concealing their identity. They also knew how long the speaker spoke and what did they say. They could also tell by accent if the speaker was local or was from outside the area. Today we have none of that disclosure. Congress should require the donors to either declare their identity or state that they are concealed ,in every political ad. If they declared concealed they need to list total donation by donor ID number and State and Congressional district of donor. This would provide valuable information to the audience without subjecting the concealed donor to any retaliation. The voters would know if the money was coming from inside or outside the state and district. They would know how large is the contribution similar to how much speech did they buy. I would like to hear others comments on this idea.

WE The People Demand More Of The Democratic Party

I don’t know about you but I get an incessant flow of emails daily about campaign contributions from Democrats running for office While it worked for Obama 18yy ago they’re beating a dead horse now because it’s difficult to know where the D’s stand on anything except “fund my campaign because I’m a Democrat”

While the Republican party may have been purged of anyone who isn't a fascist, look at the cover-up currently going on in New Mexico regarding Zorro Ranch and you will realize that some Democrats are also fascists. Be sure to vote in the primaries, and be sure to vote for the Democrat who's not in it for personal power and wealth.

Both parties have severe problems It's just the R's are in this case worse and their corruption is more visible The Democratic party has as many problems and it's time that it undergo a restructuring The anger from the talking Congressional heads in the media is not enough The D's need to be held accountable to WE the People No $$$ just because they have a D next to their name WE need to hear what their positions are on: expand SCOTUS, complete restructuring of voting laws, restructuring of DHS and elimination of ICE, meaningful immigration reform, national abortion access, stop funding Israeli military budget, demand campaign contribution reform, insisting on a wealth tax going after the oligarchic class WE the People demand more of our elected D representatives

I blame anyone in Congress and the Supreme Court for taking bribes. Change the laws that encourage and allow it, punish those convicted. I know, I’m shouting into the abyss.

Since the Court got rid of racial gerrymandering Congress needs to get rid of partisan gerrymandering.

Banning the process of cracking and packing. Keep jurisdictions together. This can be done by a math formula. Every county and city population should be given a percentage score of what they are compared to the state requirement for an electoral district. If the Jurisdiction population is less than a district it can only be split once if it is required to complete a district. If not required for that requirement it has to stay intact. If greater that a district it can only be divided by one more time than that of a district. If for example 1.7 it could only be split 3 ways. One compete district with .7 left over to be divided no more than two ways and only if needed to complete a district. This formula can be used by all state legislatures to draw all electoral districts. We need to push this idea to get a Constitutional Amendment so all voters have the same protection.
