Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin are blocking these urgent reforms. Without them we don't pass anything they hold the key to NOT have this happen. We are getting killed by our own party. We all like to talk about the GOP but what about the role our own party is playing in this madness.

You can literally detect the brainwashing in this video of Lindsey Graham being booed for suggesting that seniors get vaccinated. They are killing their own. You can bet that the guy that is yelling that he is losing his job is lying. https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2021/10/06/lindsey-graham-booed-vaccine-mandate-orig-vf.cnn

AT&T is a key player in OAN "News" (brainwashing) channel. They own Direct TV. Corporate America is now brainwashing America! https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/06/media/att-oan/index.html

It seems 2020 was the deadliest year yet in the USA. Just from a quick look at demographics, it also appears that more people turn 18 each year than those who die. I'd say the trend is in the favor of a less restrictive and more progressive country. Have you seen Lil Nas X, the WAP video, or Kacey Musgraves on SNL sans clothes? I thought Jim Morrison was a bit much when he humped the mic-stand, how quaint! Then there are the kids from Stoneman Douglas High, Greta, the millions of Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ activists who are AMAZING.

Thom is hellbent on waking-up folks about the fragility of the system we are trying to navigate. Good, maybe even great! He is giving people the history to use as ammunition. Now it's up to folks to point it in the right direction. Let's help do that by talking to people without a party and, most of all, to the youth. We need to convince them that politics affects everything they do every day of their whole life.

Cardi B and Bernie are actually friends. He and Stacey Abrams know what they are doing.....

It would be interesting to tie in right wing media into this blog post. The earliest that I remember was in Los Angeles with George Putnam and the news. He was conservative as could be. I was shocked to find out that he was actually a Democrat by registration. Then came Rush and Fox. I am sure that other early ones existed. John Birch Society etc. I would say that Nixon was the roll over to conservatism. Then Carter the other way. And then Reagan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Putnam_(newsman)

Haven't had breakfast yet, but I'll be back in an hour or so to elaborate on this: Thom's essay this morning needs to be broadcast as widely as humanly possible, and we dues-paying Hartmannistas (brilliant, thank you, Daphne) need to step up and help. More later...
