Thom and others have been saying it out loud for some time now: Out-and-out fascism is at hand. If the orange psychopath is not kept far away from the Oval Office, the christo-fascists are not launched out of Congress and back to the fringes of society, and the extremists' stranglehold on the court system is not broken, this country is done. For generations, if not forever.
Many people in this country vote their pocketbooks. It is easy to see the snow-job the Republicans have used to exploit that. Their policies will not add to any worker's bottom line---just the opposite. Everything they do moves money to the top.
Trump's criminal activities, moral failings, lies, and his plan to gut the government mean nothing compared to the price of gas and groceries to his supporters. Their loyalty is cult-ish, truly a sickness. They have not only played into his hands, but they have joined forces with Putin, XI, and all the despots that want us to fail. A few in their leadership understand what it means to join the dictators, but the rest just want to own the libs and win.
They will win NOTHING but grief. In fact, their pocketbooks and refrigerators will be empty. Think of what it will cost (all of us) to deport, jail, fire, or kill the massive amount of people on Trump's to-do list.
The Democratic Party has a good platform, the Trumplican Party has hate and a psychopath. America will win in November if they elect Democrats. We know who does the work, and we want them to get PAID.
Look at all the current Republican candidates. None will address whether Pence did the right thing on Jan 6, how the country would have been damaged if Pence had bowed to Trump, or why they still support such a dangerous man. They will bow to Trump no matter what.
He also exclaimed antipathy towards Muslims, and would deport them, even those who are 2nd generation Americans. Can't be done, you say, well the will will find a way, especially when the cabinet and justice (judges and DOJ) are your handpicked cronies (project 2025)
And that he has a deep abiding antipathy towards blacks, and liberals (like those Campus idiots that are creating ill will by causing traffic jams and making a nuisance of themselves, and let's not forget that many of his advisors, like Stephen Miller, his lawyers, etc are Jews, as well as his daughter, her hubby and grandson.
The Muslims who demand BDS, and Free Palestine from the River to the Sea and who will not vote for Biden, will earn their just desserts, and there will be no 2028 to course correct either, Trump and the right wing have made that clear.
The Campus idiots who are using their freedoms to bend the world to their will, will soon find out that they have no freedoms, and the young blacks who want to shove Biden and the Democrats the finger will find that finger shoved up their ass.
And the Hispanics who are culturally conservative, almost all of them, and who hate illegals because they make them look bad. Trump is no lover, neither is the right wing of people named Garcia, Hernandez, Fuentes, Tarrio, Rodriquez. and Flores.
I would say well earned for the idiots, who have no knowledge of real history, and who act like petulant children who can't get their way, but I am also going to get run over with that right wing steam roller.
