Yes, we could have all these nice, necessary things, and it certainly will not suppress the wealthy in any way. According to Germany's DW news: " Wealth is distributed very unevenly: The richest half of the population has 99.5% of the assets." Around 3.8% of the population has very high net wealth, which means they own more than half a million euros, usually in real estate, financial investments, or business assets.....".--May 12, 2021

Another news agency, "The Local de", wrote on June 10, 2021 that there are 60,000 ultra-rich in the world. The USA has 20,600, China has 7800, and Germany is 3rd with 2900. Chancellor Merkel was an honorable leader, and she CHOSE not to run again. I would never want to see the same leader for 16 years. But, maybe wealth disparity is the conservative aspect Germany needs to work-on, just like us.
