Do UPS Teamsters compete with the US post office for workers, salaries and benefits? Would that have something to do with Harris not being endorsed by the Teamsters although the locals are allowed to endorse Harris? I'm trying to understand?

USPS employees belong to the Postal Workers Union and are not in competion with the teamsters.

The problem with the teamsters is that they spend their days on the road, listening to the radio, and the only radio other than music and sports is right wing hate radio. They are in essence mobile Fox viewers.

I'm sorry, but companies like Fed X, UPS, and many other carriers are in direct competition with the post office. Some are unionized.

We had a number of their cases under the Surface Transportation Assistance whistleblower Act. Gino Scalia was one of their lawyers.

Yes Daniel I know that FED X and UPS and DHL among other carriers are in direct competition with the USPS, and that the goal of people like DeJoy, the Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street is to privatize the USPS, at present it is, as is the Red Cross, a private non profit.

But the question was "is the teamsters union in competition with postal workers"(union) And the answer is no.

Hi Gloria! My opinion regarding why the national teamsters union did not endorse Harris is it's due to 2 things: 1) many of the union members are voting their racial prejudice (i.e. they are pro-Trump) over their economic interests (Harris is obviously more pro-worker), and 2) I think the union president (O'Brien) has personal interests/preferences for Trump to win (speculation, I have no specific knowledge on this point).
