Like toxic parents, spouses, and bosses they will try to convince us that we are worthless. According to them: We're not worth the cost of decent health care, fair wages, and affordable housing. Poor people are a burden and just eaters. The un-housed and mentally ill should depend on charities for all the help they need. Pregnant women and children have no choice. For their god, which is money, we must suffer.
We can get out the vote, and we can make living longer worth it. I just saw an event where Cenk Uyger stated he's convinced we can get money out of politics. It won't be easy, but YES THE HELL WE CAN! Pretty sure Thom thinks we can---perhaps it's one of the reasons he must write.
