Blaming our heredity or environment for our shortcomings is only an excuse; Trump has chosen his path, which has led to where he is today. Others face terrible odds, yet rise to be shining examples from the choices they've made eg. Malala Yousafzi, the Pakistani girl who was shot in the head for going to school.

Nature is mostly responsible, but a person with severe learning disabilities cannot CHOOSE to learn. They need help.

I have two nephews with the same learning disability Trump has.

One nephew's mother was a real ogre, forcing every year of every school to give her kid education he could input. He was a terrible student, until he found what worked for him. Now, he has two masters degrees and is very successful. His learning disabilities haven't left, he simply knows how to manage them.

My other nephew was coddled and passed along, granted in Naples, Florida schools, some of the worst in the USA. He also did poorly but his caretakers ridiculously claimed he had no learning disability and blamed the teachers and schools instead of getting him some help. He easily graduated Naples high school, but he can't read and write. The poor guy is brilliant, always quickly promoted into management, then they find out he can't read, In most jobs, you have to be able to reading write to manage.
