So if a woman never legally changed her last name to her husband's, wouldn't it be easier to get a new driver's license and/or passport (using her birth certificate for identification) to use should an ID be required for voting?

My wife never changed her name, and why should she, she has her own identity and not that of Mrs Farrar. Women have been brainwashed to believe that they have no identity of their own. My 1st wife wanted more than anything to be a Mrs...

I was a law firm administrator and two of the lawyers were married, she kept her own name and identity.

By avocation I am a genetic genealogist, and my biggest frustration is losing a link because a record only shows the mothers married name.

To get a Florida driver's license, you'll need to provide:

*Proof of Social Security number: A Social Security card, W-2 form, or pay stub

*Proof of date of birth: A birth certificate

*Proof of residential address: Proof of Florida residency

*Proof of completion of a course: Proof of completion of a Traffic Law & Substance Abuse Education Course
