True, but now we can make the best out a bad situation. Trump/Musk are "way past their skis" and vulnerable. Our national sovereignty has been lost. We lost the cold war. Patriotic Americans of all stripes should oppose that.
Last night MSNBC showed several Republican House members validating complaints about Trump/Putin and Musk. Those are the folks we need. I keep sayin' that
22 Republican senators, dozens of Republican House members voted to fund Ukraine. Many of them call Trump a liar about Putin.
Yesterday I discussed how car manufacturers, car dealers, rancehrs, farmers and others are upset with Trump/Muak. We need to pressure Congressional Republicans to end tryanny.
Ok, so another thing to worry about, not getting my SS check deposited. I remember last month when I saw it hit my account breathing a sigh of relief, yet at the same time having anxiety about next month. Well, all I can say is Trump is going to have a lot of haters out there - foreign and domestic.
I am waiting to see if my SS check drops on the 27th, (4th Wednesday of each month) If it doesn't it won't really hurt me, but all of those people who depend on it, like my Mother in Law, who gets $1,000 a month, and we send her an additional $300 a month. They are condemned to death.
My wife applied for SS in January, and hasn't heard a thing, though I understand that your wife did as well and has been getting a benefit.
What amazes me about the few acquaintances I have who are Trumpers, is that you can have a good conversation with these people on so many other topics, and they are not stupid, just completely brainwashed with what's going on, if I bring something up as to what is actually happening, they just dismiss it and call me Woke.
I know, I have family/friends that voted for the rapey felon (refuse to use his name) for whatever reasons. They are convinced in their delusional minds that the rapey felon would “fix” the country, economy, Ukraine war, the blah blah justifications go on. They aren’t obnoxious or ignorant about some things but believe the republican mantra of Harris was too leftist, “both sides do it “ etc. to the detriment of our democracy and they still downplay the illegal, regressive policies of this administration. I am not sure what it will take for those people to wake TFU but staying in the Faux news bubble and relying on MSM sites who sane wash the administration lies continues the damage. But too many of these people will not admit their colossal mistake.

When I tell them that Trump raised enough to give every American at least a $million, and he probably pocketed most of it, they don't believe me.
