Bless you Scupper, and I am an atheist, I am 83 and could not agree more. Double blessings for adopting a 13 year old cat I am a cat person and have four, well the fourth is a barn cat that adopted us, comes in at night to sleep, get breakfast, then goes out to feed himself on rodents, which requires a monthly deworning, as rodents carry tapeworm larvae.

Thanks for your blessings, William. I appreciate any that don't require me to put cash in the alms plate. I am also quite free from any beliefs in mythical characters with the exception of the Tooth Fairey and the Easter Bunny whose symbiotic relationship I've studied for many years. By the way, any barn cat not needing periodic de-worming, is a fraud.
I did have a cat I rescued out of a woodpile, abandoned as a kitten, who moved over to a neighbor years later because he was so mad at me worming him. C'est la vie.
Hah! Isn't this fun! One of the two best cats in my life was a barn cat who decided to move in by yowling through the roof vent of my temporary Airstream home, and never missed the cat box subsequently. It makes sense that atheism would be consanguineous with catness.

Well, arenтАЩt cats gods? At least they think they are.
They may think that they are gods but their understanding of "godlike" must include snuggling and belly rubs.
